Boston already noticably out handling the puck over the Rangers in the opening minutes.

    Avery is standing out
    again.

    pretty even 1st period.
very chippy and lots of brutal hits, on both sides.

Chara losing his cool very easily, all due to Averys antics.

    Losing Callahn is insurmountable,
the guy is one of only a few who shows heart and tenacity on every shift .
He tries avoiding Icing and skates onto the inside of Chara - and the glass--
without a thought and obviously he skated away with his shoulder mangled.
    devastating.

Ollie Joke-inin isone of the biggest gaffes of a rental player under Sathers tenure,.....
Its pretty safe to assume he will not be invited back after our season is all but over( meaning Jokeinin ) ,
which seems even closer this afternoon after that 2nd Boston goal .

Avery has showed good skills and heart throughout this game today.

10 was a big hit for PJ,
lets see if 10 games remaining can light a fire underneath our beloved Blueshirts.

even with 8 of those 10 on the road.

    gonna be a tough one,
if we are indeed without Callys tenacity and Averys grit.

1 win does not the playoffs make,

alltho its always enjoyable to spank the Isles
( we get to do it again too )
tonight its the battle of the Hudson.

We sure would be lost without Avery and Callahan,
thankfully those guys are okay .

And, do you even realize Henriks record against Martin?

You should hope the Rangers do not make the playoffs so they can then clean house and build a team the right way. Oh yeah you can call Yank the king all you want but the real King of the net wears a Red and Black Jersey.

Avery has fought Carcillo why will he not fight Clarkson? Seriously just looking for your opinion.

There once was a King named Richter, too .
Every icon has their time pass, get over it .

Chalk another one up for The King
    in a shootout !

Funny, there was just as many NYR fans at Newark as Devil fans.
You could even hear the Lets Go Rangers chants over the televsision broadcast.

As for Avery , he does his job very well.
Clarkson was Waaaahhh Waaaaahhhh ing fromn the drop of the puck,...

Hey what goalie has 4 cups and holds the record for most playoffs wins by a goalie

Yea the local goalie talk ends right there

I'd rather get a top 6 draft pick then be one and done in the playoffs again. but go ahead rags fans and cheer for them to make the playoffs knowing full your hearts will be broken and call for sathers head right away.

Btw- I loved how avery can give head shots to people and cause head injuries and then not fight when someone challenges him. Some tough guy for ya . I seem to remember avery making a name himself by fighting back when he was young in the league.
Ron: I just don't feel like going out tonight
    Sammi: Wanna just break up?
