NY PJ1 wrote:any playoff games are good to get !!!!!!!!!!!!!
maybe lindsay's tit will pop out or something ??? then i can join the band and play her nipple on WWS..............................
Yeah, if I had unlimited funds I'd just get them all. Gotta pick and choose, you know? I'd prefer games later in the series where they could advance to the next round, you know?
Thats about all Lindsay's good for, some boobage. Her ex boyfriend was hilarious on Howard Stern a few weeks back talking about banging her, Mandy Moore and Jennifer Love Hewitt.0 -
From MSG . com :
In a special pregame ceremony, a Rangers player will be presented the prestigious MetLife/Steven McDonald Extra Effort Award. Voted on by the fans, this honor is given annually a player who "goes above and beyond the call of duty." The on-ice ceremony, which begins at 7:04 p.m., will be shown as part of the MSG Network telecast of this game.
i remember that every year- it was like money in the bank- adam graves owned this award . this year- i'm not sure which guy will get it,
but id guess its one of the guys on that 4th , HMO " energy " line- probably Ortmeyer or Hollweg

morning hey bath your boy jarkko made it to the big league
got lucky last night..very sloppy game
i knew that wasn't jagr's goal and i was all the way on the opposite end in the blues
the "season's over" chant was awesome
LET'S GO RANGER'S!!0 -
I am glad the Rangers' cousins gave the uniforms back to the real players after the first period. Renney was piiiiissed
oh so close for Jagr
There were many players that deserved the S Mcdonald award...wtg HenrikIf a man speaks in a forest and there is no woman around to hear him, is he still wrong?0 -
The only guy who played worth a damn in the first was Immonen. Glad to see the kid get a goal in his first game, he deserved it. I say let him stay awhile, at least until Rucchin heals up fully. I know we're pushing for the division title, but staying healthy for a long playoff push is important too.
LETS GO RANGERS!!!0 -
food for thought...
if we go 3-3 rest of way...flyers need to go 6-1 to win division
if we go 2-4 flyers need to go 5-2
sooooooo... lets win 4 and not worry about it
LET'S GO RANGER'S!!0 -
nice to see the Leetch trade pay off some more. Makes it a bit easier to take...at least for me.0

hey boys
the first period was really hard to watch.
Renneys face said it all- and yeah- he took that time out- but it looked like it took a little talking to behind closed doors for them to snap out of it ( after the 1st intermission )
The goalpost was our extra teammate, 2 clinkers i clearly heard thru the TV- we clearly had a little luck on our side.
And how about Tom Poti ?
Who does he think he is, --- Brian Leetch ? Holy Cow- he made some questionable passes the first part of the game, but they were all instantly wiped out when he went end to end and deeking 3 Isles, setting up Strakka .
Immonen was lucky they didnt call a penalty on him, but working with Prucha on the sideboards- ( the Islander lost his stick on that play along with being thrown down to the ice )- that was pretty sweet him scoring in NHL game # 1 . From what we saw on TV, hes a good skater and strong defensively, to go along with his offensive prowess. It will be a treat to see him regularly sometime soon.

I was thinking the same thing about Poti's end to end rush. Looked like what Leetch used to do...0

no forsberg tonight hurt groin...what a shame0

friggin Flyers clinched their spot last night against Buffalo
We have gone undefeated against Boston this year- hopefully we can keep that up.
They are , in the words of Tom Renney, the best team thats not making the playoffs.
These afternon broadcasts on NBC are killing me- right smack in the middle of the day. At least its pouring and nasty outside- something to do in the inclement( ?sp) weather.
Flyers play Toronto again tonight- wonder if they'll handle them like they did last week.
Weekes starts again tonight - as far as the press coverage from last night.
Hopefully Immonen will stick around a while till Rucchins foot heels.

April 8, 2006 -- With six games remaining on the Rangers' schedule, their focus is two-fold: Win the Atlantic Division (and thus secure the third seed in the Eastern Conference), and allow their roster to rest and heal as much as possible between now and the start of the playoffs.
Both of these goals will take center stage this afternoon in Boston, where the Blueshirts hope to earn their 99th and 100th points of the season while allowing Henrik Lundqvist to rest his sore hip flexor. Kevin Weekes, who won both games he started in Lundqvist's place this week, again will get the nod in goal.
"I'm here to contribute my piece of the puzzle to the team," Weekes said after yesterday's practice. "I'm accustomed to playing a lot of games."
Such a trait could prove valuable this weekend for Weekes, who also may find himself in the starting lineup tomorrow against the Devils.
Lundqvist practiced yesterday and said he felt extremely tentative making saves with his glove and blocker because he did not want to risk aggravating his injury. He said he considers his health to be an "8 or 9 out of 10" and admitted that the recent relapse of teammate Darius Kasparaitis' groin injury serves as a fresh reminder of what can happen when a player comes back too soon. (Kasparaitis skated for 20 minutes at the start of practice and should return to action sometime in the next week.)
As for Weekes, he's made big steps to silence the boos he heard earlier this year at the Garden.
"It's been real special for Kevin to be able to come back and nail it for his team," coach Tom Renney said.
*
Martin Rucinsky skated in practice yesterday with a hard plastic brace covering his fractured left index finger. He was unable to wear a glove over the brace and does not expect to return to the lineup until the end of the regular season.
A limited number of playoff tickets will go on sale Tuesday, April 18, at 9 a.m. at the MSG box office. Distribution of 1,000 wristbands, which will be required to purchase tickets, will begin at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, April 17, at the corner of 8th Avenue and 33rd Street. At noon on April 18, any remaining tickets will be available via Ticketmaster. There is a maximum of two tickets per customer. Available seats will be in the 300 and 400 levels and will be priced at $36.50 and $58.50 for round one, and at $39.50 and $64.50 for round two.
so now it seems we might not see Henrik again until Tuesday Night at The Garden against the Islanders.
Thats fine by me- just keep this guy healthy !For the ones who had a notion, a notion deep inside

Congratulations Jaromir ! 53 was a long time coming !
And how about that little tidbit they mentioned on the NBC broadcast today- ( Mike Emerick and JD ).
After Prucha scores his next goal, it will be the first time EVER that a rookie Goaltender has won 30 games and another rookie teammate scored 30 goals.
Im rooting for him to score his 30th more then ever now- gotta love the history season we are witnessing.
