    Maddux was a great choice....

    and the Stankees still suck....

and the Sox are still the champions....

and the Stankees have a guy named JOBA...

and oh yeah, the sox won again tonite.

Babe Ruth would have been a good choice too. He loved to drink and party. He was by far, the greatest live show during his time. And he started a "curse", just as we lifted the Alive curse for eddie!!!

You look like Babe Ruth's gay brother, Gabe Ruth

Well played sir, that was good.

only read the title not the whole thead. but with no doubt. The Chicago Cubs or Soriano.

Since Cubs fans are a bunch of losers that lack baseball knowledge. You are calling Pearl Jam fans losers that lack knowledge of music. It would be much more appropriate to compare Coldplay to the Cubs.

It also is an acceptable answer to the question "You know how I know you are gay?" You like Coldplay/ the Cubs.

They would clearly be the Great Honus Wagner! Excellent in every aspect of the game! And a much better shortstop than Cal Ripken, Jr....
    Stone Gossard...riffmeister extraordinaire!

I am a man, I am advanced.....I am the first man to borrow Stone's leather pants!

Frank Thomas- 1st half of career = one the greats of all time. 2nd half of career has moments that go unnoticed by the masses.

I second this nomination. Top vote getters will go into a poll after the discussion dies down. Keep em' coming.

can't be Frank Thomas. Pearl Jam would never get cut from any team.

I think it has to be Ken Griffey Jr. Best in the '90s, despite all that crap going on around him (steroids - music business, 'selling out', ticketmaster)

It has to be Mad Dog Greg Maddux, without a doubt...no pitcher won more games in the '90s, no better band rocked the 90s.

I saw Reggie make a 5 year old kid cry in Cooperstown one year. Quite the A-hole.

I was at a work conference in Tampa last year. The entire Yankees team stayed at my hotel. I saw Reggie every time I turned around, 99% of those times he was hitting on different women. I'm a lifelong Yankees fan, and Reggie was my favorite player when I was a kid, it was really strange to see him this way...
