A few names come to my mind: Billy Williams, Tony Gwynn, or maybe the most appropriate- Ken Griffey, Jr.

Thoughts?

What is the point of this thread?
I pledge to you a government that will not only work well, but wisely, its ability to act tempered by prudence, and its willingness to do good, balanced by the knowledge that government is never more dangerous than when our desire to have it help us blinds us to its great power to harm us.

Nice one, but given his tragic event and sorry deterioration, I disagree. If you suggested Gary Templeton, I would have agreed more.

Liked A-Rod but how about Josh Hamilton, the Rangers' triple crown candidate? More over, Lance Berkman? They each bat for average, hit a lot of homers and lead the league in RBI.

Kinda like the like the rhythm (Stone), energy (Jeff) and distinciveness (Ed) of my favorite band.

I thought it was going to be a link to Jeets, which would have been a good one.

excellent one! Much better suggestion than Greg Luzinski. Bake McBride would have been a fun one.

If they were a past player they would be Joe Dimaggio.

Carries himself with dignity and class. Tried to keep a lower profile. And one of the greatest of all time. Especially all around game. Much like the entire band contributing.

I'll try and think of a current one.
