Watching this thing on Fox News and Brit Hume seems about ready to call it a night now that they're projecting Ohio for Obama. The tone is noticeably less optimistic than it was a few hours ago.
EDIT: yes, they called it for obama again. if you notice, a minute or two ago they had california highlighted red. perhaps this isn't the most reliable network...I hear CNN has neat graphics, gonna go check them out now.

I think they wanted to call it, but it was jsut a touch to early ... they made it offical a few seconds ago ...
waiting for one more station to actually call it ... if that holds, again, there is no route for McCain (except, maybe California which ain't gonna happen)

ah, ok. it's key for obama to win virginia. i thought he meant his feeling was whoever took virginia would be the eventual winner.
I had to step away from the computer but yeah Virginia is was key because it has never gone Dem since 44' I think. So J14 said it locks other power strong states like Florida and Ohio.
Also this state is a huge military state one of the reasons visited this state was his last, last night. Obama drew near 100,000 people in the area and my sis asked me to go I told her hell no traffic is a nightmare in that mixing bowl area down there.

you can't really watch it that way ... you never know which counties have NOT been counted, CNN said it was a lot of urban centers that have not reported, heavy Obama counties.
