CNN just said they're not going to go by exit polls this time around and that they're playing it very conservatively and that they'll only count the votes

well, they also called like 10 states RIGHT at 8 pm ... so, take that with a grain of salt too ...

you have to stick around at the top of every hour, that's when results come in and networks can call races.
But there's a bunch of states that have closed voting and just haven't called it yet so surely they could come through at any time?

Really? Damn. I'm flipping around like crazy. I think I may have to turn off the tv and just play some FFVII. Save some sanity.
Oh man, best fucking way to save sanity ever.
If only real life was more like FFVII.

My neighboring state and I would love to see something different happen in the state of VA.
VIRGINIA is the key. My sis just told me MILLIONS are gathered in KENYA.

why is virginia the key? seriously, no sarcasm. i just like hearing different takes on things.
if Obama takes Virginia, it's essentially over ... Obama can lose Nevada, Colorado and NEw MExico, and still win with the states that are heavily in his favor ...
same holds true if he wins Florida or Ohio

ah, ok. it's key for obama to win virginia. i thought he meant his feeling was whoever took virginia would be the eventual winner.
The key to any statewide victory for Republicans in Virginia is to run up big margins in suburban Richmond, and especially in Chesterfield County just below the James River from the capital.
In 2004, Bush beat Kerry there 63-37.
Now, with nearly 100% of precincts reporting, McCain is only beating Obama 54-45 in Chesterfield.
CNN showed the Virginia senate race results, already in favor of Democratic candidate Warner ...
This thing looks like it's going to be over soon.

If Obama pulls Virginia (after just taking PA), it's over.
