Is this your way of glossing over the accountability of the others involved and what happens in their lives--ie: the paparazzi?

Maybe. Or maybe I just hold people more accountable for their choices than you do. I don't know. I don't believe the paparazzi caused Britney to go commando, but I know that without them we wouldn't have been so readily exposed to her nastiness.

Britney could have been rid of the paparazzi at any point in her life she chose. We've already heard of plenty of examples of peers of here who have been able to do so. And we've seen Christina Aguilera go from mickey mouse club, to teen pop star, to nasty media whore, to respected singer and responsible person. She made choices. She shaped her life. She did so in the same environment Britney is in.

So in the same way you feel I gloss over the accountability of others involved, I think you may gloss over Britney's responsibility for her own life choices.

Maybe. Are you holding the paparazzi accountable, though, for their choices? For example, when they act obnoxious, do you see that they are accountable for being obnoxious? Or do you think that is Britney's fault? When they are disrespectful, they are accountable for being disrespectful, or do you not agree? When they infringe on others, they are accountable for that as well, correct?

I fully hold Britney responsible for everything she does and her each choice and the consequences of those choices. I just don't hold her responsible for the choices of others, because she does not control those choices.

I agree. If she lead a boring life she'd drift out of the spotlight. Being a bad girl is not helping things. People love the strange stories. If she stopped dyeing her hair, let it grow out, stopped getting tattoes, wore glasses, became a nerd for a few years, we'd never hear of her again.. instead, she loves getting knocked up by white trash, showing her kootchie, tatoos, partying, shaving her head, doing crazy things.. she loves this shit. It keeps her on the edge. She obviously has other issues.

We shouldn't dictate how weird she's allowed to act without harassment. That's ridiculous.
