I thought the fact that after the President offered condolences and his shock and horror, etc....that he felt it necessarry to add that he supports people's rights to bear arms was disgusting. What a fucking idiot. That was totally dispicable and inapropriate. Whoever wrote that speech or was pulling his puppet strings should be ashamed of themselves. It made me want to puke.

It's like giving a token paragraph of speech because it's expected, then he tosses in a gun commercial right after.
holy...Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

It's so true. I had to do a double take. I was like, "He didn't just say that did he? He didn't just throw the gun nuts a bone after he told victim's families how sorry he was?"one foot in the door

I don't think he disagrees with the constitution just the fact that Bush had to throw in that line seemed extremely inappropriate."When one gets in bed with government, one must expect the diseases it spreads." - Ron Paul0 -

Because he knows, as we all do, that this is going to be used in knee-jerk legislation to try and take more 2nd Amendment Rights away.0 -

I agree. You know both sides of the issue will use this to try to strengthen their position, which I find disgusting. The senseless death fo so mant people should never be used as a political tool."When one gets in bed with government, one must expect the diseases it spreads." - Ron Paul0 -

Oh please. Bush comes out and sympathizes with the victim's families and then in the same breath say he supports the rights for people to carry guns!?
So basically what he's saying is "Sorry your kids got shot, but hey, this is America! People have the right to carry firearms!" :rolleyes:Another habit says it's in love with you
Another habit says its long overdue
Another habit like an unwanted friend
I'm so happy with my righteous self0 -
