paranoia breeds social breakdownMakes much more sense, to live in the present tense.

because as a parent it's my right and responsibility to look after the well being of my children in every aspect of their lives.

It will do them good to make school more efficient. It could be used to help them should they become lost or kidnapped.
Remember how people bucked the need for home computers? The internet was evil too at one time. But yet here we all are...mainstreamed and happy. But there were people out there who had the same exact fears over having a computer in the home. That it would always be "watching". Rather absurd now don't ya think? Lack of understanding breeds fear which in turn breeds ignorance.Makes much more sense, to live in the present tense.

well i already have my children's fingerprints, so if they get kidnapped or lost or lose their minds and join a cult, i will be able to identify them.
and exactly how will it make schools more efficient. i'd much prefer the funding go towards making my children MORE educated.
well i never thought the internet was evil. and i do not know what can and can't be traced through technology. and it's not something i lose sleep over.
i don't have a lack of understanding on this fingerprint business because there is nothing to understand. i object. it's that simple. and you don't seem to be able to give me a good enough reason to warrant such a scheme.
and do not make the mistake and think for one minute that you are talking to some naive schoolgirl or uneducated person. so quit the arrogant attitude and give me just cause for fingerprinting chiuldren.hear my name

i'm not sure which bit you're objecting to. you haven't identified the BAD portion of fingrprinting. most banks require a fingerprint to cash government checks. some states require fingerprints on drivers licenses. you can't go through life hiding your fingerprint so if there's good that can come from collecting fingerprints from children; what's the problem?
My children can have their fingerprints taken by me and a sample of their DNA too if I choose which I will keep and give to the police IF they are ever kidnapped otherwise, it's not necessary for children to be fingerprinted, it's only going to lead to that whole barcode tattoo on the forehead or microchipping like the dog! And it's not like we can trust the government, schools or even banks for that matter to keep our records and information protected and not onsell it to all kinds of places who gather all kinds of information. Everybody has the right to privacy. This would be a breach of that as far as I can see.NOPE!!!
