    He was trying to avoid the condom question. He doesn't want to advocate them because his hardcore Christian audience would be alienated. But now he's kind of irked everyone else because he's made himself appear ignorant.

    Nah. Giuliani is on top of the polls right now. Although it's early. Gingrich and Romney are both able to pull ahead of McCain.
