Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

ha it is? well lets talk about it since we are all equally kooky. who believes in aliens? its hard to say they dont exist. the freakin universe is huge.

no tis easy to say aliens don't exist. much more difficult to present irrefutable proof either way.

Pffft... waste of money. I have my little tin foil hat and it works perfectly. Makes me invisible to those aliens and protects me.
  • Scientology isn't really classified as a religion since there is no worship of a diety. It is instead a belief in life origins. No different than the belief in evolution theory.

No different. . . except for the small issue of the mountain of irrefutable evidence that species evolve by natural selection, and the zero amount of evidence that some dude called Xenu is out there waiting to kick our sorry arses.

Evolutionary theory is not a belief system that you subscribe to, and it has nothing to do with faith or religion.
It doesn't matter if you're male, female, or confused; black, white, brown, red, green, yellow; gay, lesbian; redneck cop, stoned; ugly; military style, doggy style; fat, rich or poor; vegetarian or cannibal; bum, hippie, virgin; famous or drunk-you're either an asshole or you're not!

I'd be interested to see this "irrefutable evidence" of evolution of life. Evolution in the sense that life already established changes and grows is a perfectly provable concept. However the "evolutionary theory" that all life on earth, in the universe and beyond was created by a sudden event, has no scientific proof behind it. Scientology believes in life on earth as being created via aliens in the universe. Therefore, both are equal in their idea of where life came from. Neither is a religion.
