    While there are some wingnuts here (on both sides), I think most liberals here are just against the idea of governemnts (or anyone else) killing innocent civilians.

    based on the study I watched on LinkTV..no, surprisingly. It only makes 2 half retards. :D

    anyway, when is this cycle going to end? The two sides meet, shake hands for the cameras, agree to peace..one month later a rocket is launched killing innocents and the other retaliates with a full scale invasion, killing innocents..

    I hate to say it...but I almost think they're going to have to fight it out and get it over with. I know that's terrible...but...it seems inevitable.

    sadly, I think you may be correct...I was watching Mosaic two nights ago..in a story for Palistine about a missile stike that killed a entire family...a palistinian (sp) woman said (paraphrasing) "we must keep having babies in order to fight the occupiers, all women must keep having babies, we must fight them"...it gave me chills...it's pretty scary how much they hate each other...

    Things are pretty good..one week til I head out to Seattle and then the Gorge! :D

    but yeah, I just don't see a solution. It's real easy to say.."the Palestinians should stop..", "the Israelis should stop..". The level of hatred is at an extremely high level.

    As for all these conflicts going on...the world needs someone to stand up and lead efforts toward peaceful solutions...it ain't bush, putin, or blair...either the world gets together and works toward peace or we stand back and let them fight it out...we are living in a very very volatile time....

    inmytree I know what you're saying as for Bush, Putin, and Blair..and I think the rest of the leaders of major are the same. There's too much interest in oil. Seems to me as far as we're concerned, we're fighting Russia and China for a dominant presence in the mideast for that very reason. Although..that's just my opinion. :D
