Or we recognize that the world is full of evil people. We realize that sometimes you have to make friends with enemies in the short term. You all think diplomacy is the answer to everything. Guess what? Why haven't we solved the North Korean crisis yet? Iran? We're going to have to give North Korea Georgia if they're ever going to change their ways. Yeah, we're pissed at the way the world is working right now. But we don't automatically blame the US. It's China's fault we're having problems in North Korea. It's the money hungry Russians who won't help with Iran. You all want world government, and the Iran and North Korea problems to go away. Guess what, the world doesn't want to deal with them. The US does, and they're probably going to have to get their hands dirty to do it.

Money hungry Russians... why are they money hungry again?

you're putting the cart before the horse. You do know your US political history and practices right?

China is sitting quietly stockpiling resources because they know the US is coming...

Your philosophy is reality in reverse...

Why does the US have any say over any other country? What moral right do they have, given their history of involvement?

Also, what mess has North Korea created? Or Iran for that matter?

Iran: Leader states that the Holocaust never happened, that Jews should be obliterated. Currently attempting to get a nuclear weapons program going. But it's just Jews, so you're okay with it I guess.

North Korea: Unstable dictator who is killing his people. Goes against treaties and makes nuclear weapons, and is currently testing missiles intended to be able to reach Japan and the U.S. But, if it is of no worry for you, then it shouldn't be for me I guess.

You freakin' hippies make me sick.

I know my history. I know that when Europe needed help, we got the fuck in there and took care of business.

The U.S. doesn't want to attack China. What we want is a fair, global economy. China has its own agenda. We aren't going to try to attack China, if that is what you are getting at. Only a fool believes that, so I hope you don't.

I'm an American that is proud to be. I give my country the benefit of the doubt. I don't agree with everything, but I don't spend my existance scanning left-wing websites looking for articles to undermine anything the country does.

Blind faith is exactly that...blind. On your same principles we should attack China then no? i.e. "get the job done"

Question: What do you think you're really fighting for?

regardless of workers or citizens rights

i find it funny that it is seems to always be the flag waving, "spread democracy with a gun", "freedom loving" americans that turn a blind eye towards us doing business with that beacon of freedom called china?

you call it "fair and global trade"... thats classic!

But weren't we secretly supplying Britain with weapons before hand? We would have been in that war anyway, and should have been in it since we were obviously in the position to help defeat those nazis.

Okay, then we'll attack them first. Then you'll complain about that too.

I'm not turning a blind eye to China's human rights issues. China is a beast that has to change within, and it seems to be starting with economics as it is becoming more and more capitalistic. We have to trade with China regardless if our economy is going to make it in the years ahead.

The world isn't a nice place. We're going to get our hands dirty every once in a while.

Yet ironically, if us "flag waving, "spread democracy with a gun", "freedom loving" americans" decided to cut all trade off with china, and let them suffer and their econmy try and stand on its own, you'd be crying about the heartless cons letting chinese babies die. We (the US in general) can't win with you people. Maybe you really should just leave and go make your own fucking country.

This board is populated by communists, socialists, half-retards and combinations of the three. There's no point in debating anything with them; it's like talking politics with your dog.

I've been part of a campaign to boycott Caterpillar for the past six or seven years..... the campaign intensified after the murder of Rachel Corrie.

Anyhow what we discovered was that caterpillar company itself specifically designs and modifies their machines to cause maximum damage when destroying Palestinian homes, land, crops, water systems, etc.

ok so after last nights retaliation, should we get ready for the retaliation of the retaliation?

Why can't the parties involved see how fucking ridiculous it all is?
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

That my friend is a really good question! Rediculous it is indeed.

Makes one begin to wonder what the heck is really going on.
