Really? So America's 100% support of Israeli terrorism, and it's imposing sanctions on Iraq for 10 years, resulting in the deaths of approx 2 million, weren't in any way a provocation?

That Iraqi leadership could have ended the sanctions at any time. It was in their control.

lol, how the hell was the iraqi leadership in control of the sanctions placed on them?

I really wanna hear this one.
  • Weren't the sanctions a direct consequence for Iraq kicking out nuclear arms inspectors? I believe that sanctions would be lifted if they were allowed back in.

They were created to punish the invasion of Koweit. Then they were held in place until "inspectors could prove the total absence of unconventional weapons". During 13 years. So it wasn't really in their control, it was in the control of the security council, when they decided to believe the inspectors telling them there was no wmd's in Iraq, that's in 2003, after the fall of the Iraqi government.
So it really wasn't in their control.

Do you have a particular purpose for demeaning people? If so, I would like to hear it. Your hostility is really obvious.

That's understandable. If you do the same thing back, then does't that mean you put yourself at that same level, too? I realise there are many hostile, intolerant attitudes around here. Do you really want to be one of them? There are also people who stay above that game. Peace. :)

what's a pseudo-intellectual? anyone with more school than you?

you dont share any important information. you toss around wild conspiratorial accusations without any support. you still have not provided a source for that bin laden quote. where did it come from? do you even know?

the police state thing was something the hippies said a lot in the 60s... 40 years later and still not a police state. but hey, if it comes to that ill be first to sign up with the revolution and start fighting back. it'd be an easier way to take it on than the political process!

really? you know as well as I do that is far from the truth. I have been debating here for a long time. its hard to come up with something intelligent to say when backed into a corner
