hhmmmmm... i dont know about that statement.

i think to a certain degree its true. if you are not a jew, supposedly you will not get into heaven. they cannot marry anyone whos not jewish. blah blah blah.

however some eastern european countries have worse....

Racist or ignorant...not sure which one you are. Here's food for thought: Jews don't believe in a heaven or hell.

Yes, I understand what you mean.
Still 3 millions people killed in the Democratic Republic of Congo is bigger than a tribal dispute, but i thik we understood one each other.
Liverpool's warm and nice, even if I'm having hard life trying to find a local charity to host a group of Algerian children, sons and daughters of people "disappeared" during the recent Algerian war...

The Congo is being fought over by the surrounding nations, and the clans inside Congo itself, sponsored by Western resource and mining companies. Itis the biggest travesty of non-justice we have seen over the last decade. If there was Oil there, maybe the media would have been more involved???

Shame about the Algerian family, the people of Liverpool are a great people, hospitable, friendly, warm, but also amongst the economocially poorest in the country. Probably why its hard to find a local charity. Maybe Manchester could be a better hope? Its bigger, more varied population, I dont know.
    Good luck with that.

    Oh, really?

    What is Zion?

    What is 'the promised land'?

What are Gehenna and Gan Eden ?

You have to be the least informed person on this board.

Well, considering they aren't allowed to marry outside their own group because it will contaminate the bloodline.....sounds pretty racist to me.

Yeah, I am trying to decide if the original statement that inspired this post or that one is more ignorant .. Hmmm ...

    exactly.
no one group corners the market on being racist, ageist, sexist, etc. vast, generalized statements just don't work.
I agree and disagree...clearly it seems that many groups of people have racist, sexist, etc. views, but the group(s) in power have the ability to make their -ist beliefs seem 'normal' or 'right' and that I think is more dangerous than a person from a minority group who's group's general power does not shape policy.

you've never heard of that before? i went to ithaca college which has a significant jewish population, and many of my friends were jewish. some were fine with dating outside of "their bloodline", however, my g/f's best friend was not allowed to.

I think you guys take this racism thing too far. If you says "All KKK hate black people", is that a form of prejudice? Is it possible that not all KKK hate black people, I realize that is what they say and practice, but jews constantly label people anti-semites and racist, so isn't it the same thing.

Generalization occurs when a group of people with the same beliefs get together. They are generalizing, not me. I am identifying a self-proclaimed group and pointing out their self-indoctrined bias. It's not racism.

Of course taking one of my statements out of context could make all that unkown. It's just assumed then that I am being racist.

So, in summation, you are generalizing about an entire group of people based on their religion. It's racism, pure and simple. Nice try though.

Dude, you can't say "We are jews and this is what jews stand for" and then get upset when someone else says it that's not a jew.

    This was posted by Animhus.

Pretty funny if not so damn sad. Does animhus know the NAACP was founded by Jews?

Look it up somewhere like wikipedia ... not from Chomsky, Zinn, or Mein Kampf.

wha? what part of self-proclaimed do you not understand?

So, in other words, by your thought process you would call me racist because I associate big macs with McDonalds? Think about it.

When someone proclaims their beliefs, it is NOT being racist to recognize them as such in their own words. Quite the opposite in fact. cmon...get off the glue man...
