no it makes you ignorant. There is a difference between being ignorant and actually hating an entire race. See, cause racism means a person hates that race and says things purposefully to slander them. Big difference.

I am sure you can find a radical group in every religion or race.

How can anyone take you seriously if all you do is cite extreme sources.

The ADL is a radical group? Is that confirmed? They shouldn't be allowed to operate in Canada and the USA if they are a well known radical group.

    Absolutely right!!!

I prefer to live in Israel 2006, not in the past, and so do most of us Israelis. I just wish most Palestinians would rather do the same one day.

This whole issue is getting out of control.

Of course a lot of jews are racist, I've experienced it in Israel.

..But then so are a lot of WMA's

    ..And Blacks

    ..And Hispanics

    ..And Muslims

let's not generalise eh? There are unfortunately a lot of racists in the world, but labelling each other isn't going to help matters on this already divisive subject.

Spot on... Absolutely right. Well, except that Muslims aren't a race, but I know what you meant so I'll let it slide.

I'm a bit ashamed by the some of the rhetoric going on around here. Although, sometimes when I'm worried that might I come across as anti-semetic, I just look around see the bullshit being posted and know that the heat is not going to be on me. Although, I kinda wish I could say something insane and controversial just to get some attention :D

False. I appreciate you for asking, most people just assume these kind of things are true without even check.

The state of Israel does have highly racist policies. Mostly based in Judaism. The only racist law I know of in Canada is that criticism of Judaism is illegal.

Evrery state has "racist" or better say discriminative policies against minorities. For example, I can say that the US health-insurance policy is extremely discriminative against poor people (btw, are you doing something about it?)

Our discriminative thing is jews have the right to come live in Israel, its like an automatic potential secondary citizenship. Other than that, there is no discriminative policy against ISRAELI arab (=citizens). Eastern Jerusalem arabs are related to the Palestinian authority, who is an intermediate stage of Palestinian govt for the future Palestinian country. This situation causes LOTS of problems, because there's *still* no such thing as Palestinian country - it is Basically an autonomy inside Israel. Its a very Complicated situation.

I think that try to label some people more racist than an other is kinda stupid. However, I have a note about the last thing that shiraz wrote: all the time that i went to the Occupied Territories I was very surprised about the freedom of movement of the colons, compared to the very little freedom of movement of palestinians there... So, yes, there's a discriminative policy.

EDIT: sorry, I've seen only now that you meant israeli arabs, not palestinians. Yes, for the few that I know, there's a good policy about them.

I'm just going by the facts dude. Read Amnesty International 2006 report. Read through the ADVA website and World Zionist Organization. It's your country man, not mine. I know what mine has done.

Ok, so you have to be assimilated into the collective Israel to be accepted? Otherwise you lose your home to new jewish settlements and have your water stolen from you and sold back to you? to visit your holy site you have to go through israeli checkpoints where you might be labelled a terrorist and detained indeffinately?

I just reported the facts, I didn't set an opinion about it. I think that we were talking about racism inside israel, not about foreign policy. And the israel/palestine relationship is foreign policy.
Anyway, ever heard about the hell that we have to pass through here in europe to get a visa to the US, just because we're foreigners?

Until we have the American Union it's gonna be rough for Canadians too. But I agree, the United States has racist foreign policy. It's a heck of a lot harder for a Mexican to gain citizenship. At least until this amnesty deal goes through. Want to come to Canada? Is your last name Bin Laden? Sure come on in. lol, the reason I love Canada. Most things I hate.

No what you need to do is recognize that it's happening and not be a sheep to your government. I don't live in the US, but I almost always know what's going on there. As I know what happens in Canada. I feel a personal responsibility to know what happens in the world.

"Above all, the white, western peoples are the most racist people on the planet."

Though the jews and the blacks and the chinese and the turks and the serbs etc etc have all had their moment under the racist, ethnic cleansing genocidal sun, none of them holds a candle to us, the white man.

What the Israeli government is doing now, and has been since the plan of a migration to Eretz Israel, is nothing more than an extension of Western colonial, imperialist interests. Without Oil, the Us and Uk would not need the Israel State to act as proxy in the region.

lol, I'm not a racist, despite what people here say, yet I've been labelled one since birth.

    1. aren't serb "white"????
    2. this is a generalization. i have to say that i don't like generalizations. If we start to list the etnies in daghestan, fighting against one each other, the racism between different etnies in Iraq, the problems between turkish and kurds, the problems still going on between hutu and tutsi... well... you understood

It's always stupid to make "charts" on human rights. Every single human rights violation is bad and must be considered seriously.

You saw what you wanted to see, and read what you wanted to read. I wrote it over and over again - BOTH sides are doing catastrophic things to each other, and by saying both sides I mean Isreal & Palestine. Our reaction in Lebanon was unavoidable, but yet UNmeasured. Really, I think I wrote it about a million times, but some of you probably cann't accept the fact Israeli jew is acually saying this, and also claiming to represent the majority of Isreali people. After all, it contradicts your theories about us, right? I guess you can not live with that.

    1) Yep, they are. I was referring to Western whites, British and American, Australian, and before them Spanish, and though Serbia is now classed as European, it has never been what you might call part of the Western Imperial colonial heritage. But that's splitting hairs.

    2) As far as Turkey goes, I was referring to the 1.2 million Armenians ethnically cleansed in the 1920s, not neccessarily the current Kurdish dispute. Tribal disputes have and always will happen, but never will the slaughter approach that wrought by the west upon the indigenous peoples around the world. Howvere, in Iraq, until the west back in there, the sunni's and shia's weren't murdering each other as they are now.
I think you went off track with that, but nevermind.

    So, anyway, how's Liverpool?

Yes, I understand what you mean.
Still 3 millions people killed in the Democratic Republic of Congo is bigger than a tribal dispute, but i thik we understood one each other.
Liverpool's warm and nice, even if I'm having hard life trying to find a local charity to host a group of Algerian children, sons and daughters of people "disappeared" during the recent Algerian war...
