I saw a video, on Hannity's board that showed the guy with the night stick, I'll try and find it.

It also showed people walking around freely.

It's stupid and they should be removed, it could be seen as intimidation ....but, I have not heard that this is widespread.

    edit - here's the video .... same polling station ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=neGbKHyGuHU

of course two idiots at one precinct will be turned into some widespread issue on the right.

I'm more worried about lines that are hours long discouraging people from voting.

These aren't even real Black Panthers. The party doesn't exist anymore. They are morons though. How exactly are they going to know how the people they are intimidating are going to vote once they get inside anyway?

It's idiotic of these men to go and stand around there but it seems like an isolated incident. So all you white people can feel safe that blacks will not be out in the streets attacking you today.

Some of you guys are ridiculous.

Bottom line: If you can't admit it's ridiculously wrong for these people to do this... you have serious issues. And I love the whole "well, it's Fox News" so it's not true crap. They have video and people claiming it's true with the Black Panther in the background. I totally believe this is true in Philly.

Anyway, no one ever said this will alter the entire election. It may have swayed a few votes... that's all. But, nonetheless, it's completely and totally 100% wrong and if it's even partially accurate;.. these guys should be seriously punished.

What those guys are doing is fucking wrong but the news segment, and your friend's e-mail, make it seem like it is wide spread, when in reality it is a localized incident.

So standing there outside a polling station in their black fatigues with a Billy Club is okay in your book? This is not propaganda by any stretch. It’s one incident at a polling station in Philly, that’s all it is.

do you see any evidence of voter intimidation? I sure don't.

unless you count the dipshit young republicans scared shitless and standing where they should be.

According to their national field marshall of the NBPP it's pre-planned. They asked their members to go out to the polls to ensure their interests on election day.

I'm not saying that there's much more evidence of this,... yet, however.

And by the way, they should be in custody not simply asked to leave. It's on thing to stand there unarmed, it's another to have a nightstick in your hand.
  • Imagine that. The people who have had voter intimidation perpetrated upon them for years and years have learned how to do the same. I wonder where they got the idea...

Of course this is wrong. But, it's no more wrong when black Obama supporters do it than it is when white Republicans do it. Try and keep it in perspective. Helping to spread hysteria doesn't make you look smart.

I don't support the two knuckleheads standing by that polling place but most likely they're working on their own.

There was an interview with the head of the Black Panther party in Philly and he didn't have the nicest things to say about Obama:

    http://www.philly.com/dailynews/local/20081029_New_Panthers__war_on_whites.html

On Barack Obama and voting: "He's a puppet on a string. I don't support no black man running for white politics. I will not vote for who will be the next slavemaster." Besides, he added, Obama is "a Negro who doesn't even support reparations for black people in America."

In more important news he also does not support the Phillies ;)

On the Phillies: "They can kiss my ass. The Phillies are not doing nothing for our 'hoods."

Whichever side chooses to pull shit like this is wrong. It incites hate, division and unnecessary drama. Though, saveuplife, me thinks u love pulling the drama card. You are always one to stir things up, that is for sure. : )

No wonder there is so much animosity and division coming forth in this country. It is created on a grander scale trickling down ... which reminds me of an individual who has become the best puppet for creating this type of behavior ... an individual who soon will be exiting the White House.

Note ... this is probably a small incident though portrayed to be big. Sensationalism.

Do I see evidence? Nothing other than someone standing outside a polling place with a weapon. Did I hear him say anything? No I did not. But the weapon alone is enough intimidation. Maybe some people would be a little intimidated to walk around them. You never know what peoples intentions are.

So why are they dipshits? Is it because they are republicans or because they are young republicans? Also, what is this justice you speak of?

    Haha!

This is the headline on Fox News now.

My favorite part is when the guy runs up and tries to start shit by saying "We have a problem here?" the other white guy just standing at the curb there says "It's fine."

Are you saying do nothing and that will solve this type of stuff?

If so, I don't agree. If you are saying don't make it public,... I also disagree. My point,... I wouldn't be surprised if that standoff became a bit more intense had the caucasion guy not had a video camera. You and I have no clue that this isn't occurring elsewhere and just not filmed.... so it gets no press. The media can help stop crap like this IMO.
