I'll be working.... this might have been a half decent idea after Bush was re-elected a few years back. Now with him leaving office soon, I don't see how it will impact the current climate.

    That's usually how things work.

Not exactly, my opinion was based on slow careful consideration.

If you have an objective and someone else has a conflicting objective, then they are essentially and obstacle and a problem for you. Conflicting opinions are problematic.

no, your refusal to admit that this country is on the wrong course and your discrespetful dismissal of those of us who know it is and wish to change it is what makes you the problem.

You blindly support a liar, a thief, a torturer and you gleefully say that this is the America of your dreams. That is what makes you the problem.

you're basicly like a Panda who refuses to f**k to save it's own species.

So zeig heil and more power to ya padnah !!

    yeeeehaaaawwww!!!!

    from google dictonary
secularist - an advocate of secularism; someone who believes that religion should be excluded from government and education.

a secularist I am, What does that have to do with anything in my post.

If a weak economy, a weak military and a shattered international reputation is your utopia you are welcome to it

enjoy. I'm gonna try and fix it

oh, and I'm in charge of myself. who put me there? The founding fathers when they drafted my rights in the constitution.

If a weak economy, a weak military .

shows you dont know much. a weak economy? its funny how people have no idea about the american economy. the dow jones today briefly broke the ALL TIME high while closing just below it how can that be weak?

weak military? sorry, we still have the strongest military in the world by far.

    weak leadership? ok thats possible.

That works until you figure in inflation. It's great until someone comes to collect the bill. Right now our economy is floating on a sea of borrowed money.

Noted, I had meant weakened. If you stretch the worlds strongest rubber band far enough it's gonna snap eventually. Next time you talk to a Russian, ask them how well trying to maintain wars around the globe worked out for them. One disaster brought em down like a deck of cards

    weak leadership? ok thats possible.[/quote]

    ah, a ray of light.

inflation has been kept well in check thanks to our federal reserve polices. the fudimentials of our economy are very strong even in the face of rising interest rates and record high gases prices.

sea of borrowed money? you think this is just right now, or since the beginning of time. thats nothing new.

I agree with dethroning Bush and more specifically his administration for the obvious crimes committed post 9/11. I think if the general population was aware of the PNAC documents and plans for a "better world" this administration would not have been voted in. 9/11 may still have happened, but it wouldn't have the longevity it's been given by Bush and his associates.

Yes, the PNAC is not mentioned enough, this is a very frightening group of people who currently hold entirely too much power.

The best thing America could have done post 9/11 is continue with their lives. Morn, cry, hold memorials and forget about it. Continue the campaign to kill Bin Laden and go on with normal life.

And finally someone else who believes this and will say it out loud!!

And there's a reason so few people say it ... Surely you aren't suggesting that America should have just forgotten about it and never attempted to find the people responsible? That's just ... Wrong. I am not saying that using 9-11 as an excuse to fight a misguided war in Iraq was right either, by the way.

Then reason why few people say it is bc that's not how the idiot box tells them they should act or feel.

The common man continues to let me down. Perhaps with a properly funded education system,....oh well.

Well, the view that Bin Ladin should be captured is consistent with most peoples' sense of justice, and has little to do with brainwashing from the T.V. To think otherwise is pretty condescending. Iraq might be a different story.
