  • I don't like babies. Seriously. I told my half-sister that I will be happy to meet my niece when she's potty trained and can talk. :o

That should be our next 'Just say no' campaign.

    Say no to babies. ;)
It always sounds slightly weird when a guy says this, but I love babies. :) It's when they're old enough to realise how utterly awful a person I am that I get sick of 'em. :D

  • It fucking kills me. It's a test of patience I've never faced through any customer job I've ever had. I absolutely respect Nader for the years he's had to put up with this shit, yet he keeps fighting. Love him.

I love him too for all he has done and sacrificed for the people of this country and against such heavy odds and power used against him.

How they can over look all that and say he is a fraud is beyond me.

  • How about 20 then. That should be easy on a liberal message board, right?

I'm off to bed now and with that done with the little nuisance boy Nader. May he not shame himself too badly on election night. I'm sure he already has his concession speech ready.

Take some pepto'bitter' or something before ya hit the sack. I'm afraid you'll have nightmares or something.

It's sickening. If he were voted president, I'd like to call it treason. But, that'd be all, like, against the constitution and shit. ;)

because you said 'you two people' and the last 2 people you quoted were my2hands and me.

i sincerely apologize if it wasn't directed at me. and there was no points for drama abook. believe it or not, i do have my strong views, but i do still try to be fair and reasonable to the others who do not share mine.

everyone has a breaking point though and i clearly just had mine.

i apologize for jumping to conclusions.

No worries. I'm just glad I was high as hell so I didn't get too pissed about it, anyways.

I think if I had had a bad day we might have started pulling hair. :p;)

For every bit smarter you make me, I "dump-you-up" a little bit more. It's the basis of any great friendship. :D

And now I actually am going to bed. (But I'm not going angry, like seemingly everyone else on this thread.) So I'll talkcha tomorry night. :)

The art of not taking stuff too seriously is really a grand gift to give a friend, Rhino. And I mean that with all the seriousness you've taught me about not taking. ;):)

Actually, you come into these threads coming across as antagonistic, from where I stand. There are plenty here I can disagree with about Obama that are very level-headed and civil but you aren't one of them on most occasions. Maybe you ought to work on controlling your temper? I'm saying this in the most friendly way I know how to...just so you know.

    my temper?

you guys are just crazy now... you act like i really give a shit who your voting for? are you kidding? you think i take this message board that serious that i get angry?

    you OBVIOUSLY dont know me

your man called into question my "integrity" so i told him to chill very politely... i seemed to politely handle you acting like a 4th grader calling me a "stupid retard" about 10 times via PM a few weeks ago... so i think my temper is just fine

Just look ay the lists of stuff we've posted on Obama....yep it's the same stuff as McCain. Easy enough, eh?

so mccain is the same as obama and all the issues you have against mccain you have against obama?

you have no idea how silly that sounds do you?

i will give you 1 major glaring difference, just for starters... Roe V. Wade

    She really isn't.

Again I refer to talking to people face to face. MANY said things to the effect of, "I respect the guy, like what he's done for the country, but..."

Then they go on to explain their fear vote.

    no fear here....

also, "I respect the guy, like what he's done for the country, but..." I see him a a polarizing figure, who can appear to be an opportunist...he is the left's version of jerry falwell or pat buchanan...

Here's how tired I was last night: instead of "dumb", I wrote "dump". Not only is that embarrassing, considering I said I "dump-you-up", it's sorta disgusting. :p

You mean since we've started disagreeing with you? I've always annoyed people on here that I disagree with since 2004, actually. It all depends on who happens to be agreeing or disagreeing with me at the time as to who is cheering me on and who is complaining. Then there are those wonderfully rare individuals who can disagree but still encourage me to speak to what I believe in. I appreciate those people like never before.

I called you that once. Not 10 times. I wasn't even mad just irritated that you would not stop pming me to argue, on a saturday morning no less. If you had managed to get me angry then I would have been much more wordy and probably went into multiple paragraphs about it. Maybe that is the definition of polite, though....bringing up private messages in public over and over again?

Roe Vs Wade does not trump healthcare, foreign policy, the war, energy/environment, defense spending, war funding, civil liberties, etc for me. And they are the same in those regards and both far away from what I would like to see happen in this country.
