Equal Access, they have their own bars, parades, network channels. They even have a gay day, and THEY want equal rights? They have more than equal rights, they get special treatment. I'm not against gays, I'm just against the liberals that insist they get more than us so it doesnt look unfair.

They do not have more than equal access. Heteros also have their own bars, network channels and parades (everyday is a parade!). It's laughable that's what you consider equal rights. How about marriage so we can have equal rights in regards to what happens with partners in a relationship: insurance, hospital visits, decision making, etc.

Now you don't see me dancing round in my underwaer because I am straight, I do agree with you on some level. However Do you walk hand in hand with your girl? Do you kiss her when you pick her up from work or whatever?
They often can't, really they aren't that excepted as one might like to believe. You don't get kicked your head in for walking hand in hand do you?

Maybe sometime you'll eventually realize that there are many things a couple can do that don't involve anal sex (I mean, you must feel that way about your own sex life if you have one). Many other good things, that I must say are probably better with someone of the same sex. Regardless, what's with our societal sexual repression anyway?

edit: i didn't want to give the impression it was all about the sex either, which people seem to focus on a lot. it's also about relationships and love and everything else that's in other relationships.

See, I dont care if they kiss in public or whatever, thats up to them. But the parades ARE enforced on us, we dont get a choice to sit in miles of fucking traffic because some guys wanna parade about how gay they are, I'd say the same about straights, but wait. We dont have straight parades.

When was the last time you sat in "miles of fucking traffic" due to a gay pride parade? Most of these happen once a year, and there are only a few cities with a parade of any significant size to be potentially distracting, although no more distracting or disruptive to traffic than the occasional pearl jam concert, and local football game, or opening day of boating season.

I hope that I don't have to sit in miles of traffic because those fuckin' Irish people want a stupid parade, or those stupid veterens.... how dare they force me to do drink green beer or listen to those lousy marching bands. :rolleyes:

get over it... I lived in Pittsburgh for most of my life, and I have never been inconvienced by gay parade, or any other one for that matter. Not a whole lot of traffic happening downtown on a saturday morning.

However once I did go to an amusement park with an ex-girlfriend at the time. We went for her dad's company picnic (coal mining company) and it happend to be on "gay day" or whatever it was called. I thought it was funny how people reacted about it, like having two guys sitting in the roller coaster car behind them would ruin their day.

Its their own fault. NOT for being gay, but for having to make such a big deal out of it.
