Angelica, I've forgotten what it is that you are wrong about. Can you refresh my memory a bit? :)
I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. Your nature is to do harm, mine is to love truth, and to make it public in spite of you. - Voltaire

Your prioritization of facts tells us what you are interested in and it says absolutely nothing about what I or others know factually.

If you like parading your ignore-ance regarding the vast self-education I've acquired--including an obviously large repertoire of facts, be my guest.

You may not understand this, Ahnimus, But "win/lose" situations are where you must make a person "wrong" in order to feel okay about your own position. Your words and your attitude speak for themselves when you decide to minimize the views that you do not understand.

In win-win situations, when there is disagreement, people are interested in working things out because they realize it is in their best interests to learn and grow in order to be harmonious. One seeks to head off, rather than perpetuate conflict. More power to you in your choices.

There is a certain reality to insanity in the world. I've no way of knowing if a person is genuinely insane until they say something insane.

And all those years and degrees in studying psychology and psychiatry and all that practice you've done in the field has you so fucking clever you can diagnose folk simply by what they say on a message board??!! Well bugger me ahnimus you sure are the new messiah! You should be making money from your superiority man, there's many a scientist that would welcome your amazing talents!!!

Aww shucks Jeanie :) You are always the sweetest! I've quite honored, myself, to be included in you girls company. :)

Good luck with that. Sounds like you got a meglomaniac complex coming on, but that's just my amateur psychiatry take on it, and me being such a dunce and mentally unstable, well I could see why you'd be judging.
It's very insular this life of yours. All about you and your judgements and how right they are. I worry for you. It's gonna be a hard fall when it comes.

no, Bowonksy or whatever was arguing that there is no absolute truth. That is nihilism.

Nihilism may come in many forms, certainly Nietsche was a nihilist in the sense that there is no divine purpose to life, but he still saw purpose in naturalism and rejected the form of nihilism that includes there being no absolute truth.

You need to read some Nietzsche, particularly his ideas regarding anti-nihilism.

The fact that you know nothing about Bronowski proves you know little about science and worse, little about humanity. How's that for a remote reading?

What I love is to be included in such a group of intelligent, strong, perceptive human beings. Human beings who experience the farther reaches of human nature and who "focus" on using their skills, gifts, talents and abilities to make the world a better place. I couldn't be happier. :)

You know what? I think you need to stop being your own agent. It's not working for you. You suffer from bad management, and I'm thinking someone needs to write your speeches. That way the message would get across and be accepted by more people. That is the point isn't it? :)

I think the thing I love most is learning from others, even his lordship! ;)
But it's especially nice to find "kindred spirits" and to learn from them. :)

I think being able to accept and learn from each other, with loving thoughts and energy is the only way forward for the human race.
Not always successful at curbing my own "negative" feelings but recognizing and striving are a bloody good start. :)

I love to learn from others too. I agree about loving thoughts and energy. It allows me that buffer so that I keep my own environment and thought/space harmonious and peaceful. Yeah, I get the negativity too, and use it as a way to practice cleansing the conflict in my world. :)
