what you and jlew fail to understand is is it's not a matter of if it's right or left, they spread outright lies, the majority of their programming is op/ed shows and yet it's called fox NEWS

yes, and when have you ever seen me stick up for him? we can go back further and say have you ever heard of stephen glass?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_Glass
Stephen Glass (born 1972) was an American reporter for The New Republic, who was fired for basing his articles on fake quotes, sources, and events

anyway, before the 04 election, remember when ppl said kerry said more foreign leaders liked him? then the actual audio surfaced and it showed he didn't say that? even after that all the way up to the election faux and friends would say things like 'yeah, but you know, more foreign leaders like him' and continue to push that misconception.

the national media lies, i hate to break it to you, it doesn't matter what of these major networks you pick, they, in some way, are pushing something.

The liberal media died with the ratings that Clinton provided. GOP spin is way better than the lame Democrats pathetic offerings. If you can't see that, then I hope your God pities innocents.

are you saying you don't have a problem w/ fox pushing the 'more foreign leaders' comment even after ti was proven he never said that? why do you support those types of things?

they should remove the 'news', too. do they even have any news shows? it seems like they're all op/ed shows to me. they used to have hte word NEWS on the screen either from the set or a graphic on Hannity & Colmes up to 6 times at once

I could say the same thing about the NY Times, ABC, NBC, CBS, and the Washington post. BTW - how many employees have been forced into retirement b/c of false reporting?

so I should automatically discount anything fox news has ever said because you just told me some story about some guy who lied about a comment?

the point is, people here, mostly lead by you, will scream and yell about big bad fox news. anyone who watches fox MUST be a bush pnac loving far right neo con who is sadly brainwashed.

you said it yourself..... you said I dont understand that fox "spreads lies". really? prove your statement besides the one example of some guy I never heard of. does fox do it daily? weekly? monthly? or the occasional misleading story that every other outlet does.

fox news is no different then any other news outlet. they all have an agenda. sometimes stories are misleading. most of the time they are not. they simply report the particular story and lets the audience decide.

i think it's hilarious that those tools at faux news call suicide bombers "homicide bombers"

yeah, no agenda. give me a fucking break.

    so they arent homicide bombers?

whats their agenda by saying this?

who said they, like the rest of them, do not have an agenda?

Hannidate!! HAHAHAHAHA... where you can find like-minded singles, i.e. those who are also "hannitized"

not that there's anyone sane, or with a soul for that matter, who works for Fox News, but I think all you need to know about them is that they have Sean Hannity as an employee.

it wasn't 1 person saying it...there are 3 hosts of the show <different ones on the weekend> and they all pushed this lie every single day...but i guess pushing this lie about a presidential cadidate every day isn;t that bad, eh? there is plenty of evidence of faux spreading lies and misinformation

how about that fake memo the administration used 'proving' atta was in iraq before 9/11? they pushed that repeatedly? or on 11/15 when Fox presesnted the contents of a weekly standard article, 'case closed' about a al qaeda/iraq ink, as fact all day long?

what about when fox fired 3 reporters for the report on rgbh when they refused to edit their report and lie?

From the February 12 edition of Special Report with Brit Hume: <note, the day before this show was filmed gen pace had already publicly said there is NO evidence linking Iran to the weapons in Iraq...and yet, here's what faux says that same day!

BAIER: In an interview with CSPAN, a day after senior military officials in Baghdad laid out what they called firm evidence of Iran shipping explosives into Iraq, President Bush shrugged off suggestions that the presentation is a prelude to war.

and there was NO mention of Gen Pace at all in this 'special report' ??

what's funny is you go on and on about cnn, msnbc...telling lies...yet you can't seem to admit fox lies? you are so onesided

really? i thought the other night i did exactly that??? maybe you haven't been reading?

and if you say every news outlet does, how come when i said that you simply said 'oh, i see, you hate everybody'?? and if you think they all do it then why do you keep arguing fox DIDN'T do it!?!?

do you just like to argue?

I originally responded to your claim that I dont see that fox "spreads lies". i'm trying to say they are in the same boat as any other network. they all have an agenda and that is profits. ratings is the number 1 goal of ALL of them. expect maybe c-span which is why I enjoying watching it sometimes.

but they all report major news stories and without all the big shot news anchors trying to make a name of him/herself, they do it with some level of accuracy.

I'm still confused on why calling suicide bombers, homicide bombers is inaccurate? or only being said to push some agenda.
