Both videos are fabricated and edited bullshit, for our amusement.
Both Iran and our own goverment are full of crap.
I choose to believe neither.
...
That's what has happened. The Bush/Rove spin machine has reduced an already suspect Washington credibility to the levels of the Hussein era Ministry Of Information or the Weekly World News.
I don't believe anything from us or them anymore. To believe them now... well, that would make me the fool, not them... right?

Like I was saying earlier in the thread - the sad part is that their are probably a LOT of people that saw the original story, and won't see the semi-retraction. It's always the same shite....arrest a bunch of people on terrorism charges, scare the hell out of a whole community with TERROR headlines...then release them cause you had no case. Same with the "wipe Israel off the map" story.
this is a total ploy by Iran to see what kind of balls we have. They want to know how far we'll go.
Next time this happens they won't be so lucky I imagine.
lol...that's some fine comedic satire right there...
Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

This wouldn't be an issue at all... if we had a President.
If we did have a president... all he would have to do is speak to a worldwide audience and say, "U.S. Naval personel will not allow acts of aggression towards them in international waters and will defend themselves from any threat. A repeat of the incidents of 06January2008 will result in the following:
Visual and audible warnings will be sounded. If the threat continues, One warning shot from the ship's main gun will be fired. If the aggressive acts are not broken off... use of lethal force has been authorized."
...
Try any of that bullshit again and you know what will happen to you. You have been warned. Case closed... a non-issue.

Not that i am really that suprised (uh see the title of this thread? ) but
i am PISSED after reading that!
Grrr.
Its like they are recycling the same playbook.
Not even decent enough to be creative about it,
insulting the intelligence of all of us.
"These poor ignorant saps will know no better",
I can hear them chortle.
The part that chafes me the most is CNN's complicity in this Wag The Dog ploy.
If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?

How stupid are they in the Pentagon? I man that's bad, huge underestimation of societal perception on their part.
