Do people really not care that he's going back on his word?
The only people we should try to get even with...
    ...are those who've helped us.

Right 'round the corner could be bigger than ourselves.
  • Just in case anyone needs reminded, one of the greatest Presidents of our nations history, John F. Kennedy, did so with no executive experience and having only served 2 years in the Senate.

So are you saying that Obama is the black Kennedy? Hmmmm Those could be some interesting campaign comercials.;)

Well from the little that i know about Obama I like him. He has what every other democrat lacks, charisma.

look its not like he suddenly changed his mind about the death penalty or some other matter of importance. So he wont finish his term in the senate, big deal. He realizes he has a decent shot at the presidency. There is nothing wrong with that.

There is nothing wrong with Obama saying he now is considering President when months ago he wasn't considering it. In Illinois we have Rep. Shimkus who, when he first entered Congress, said he would not serve more than 3 terms in Congress because he believes there should term limits, now he is running for term 4. Stuff like this happens all the time. It's not like Obama was saying for the past 3 years to "stay the course" than come out now and say he never said "stay the course".

Are you kidding me? Leave his fucking kids alone. I'm sure next you're going to start calling him Iraq Hussein Osama.

Just FYI, his daughters names are Sasha and Malia, and they are great kids.

I have no problem with a moderate democrat from my home state in the White House.

I do think it might be too early for him but we'll see.

  • in anderson sc, heart of the redneck south, i actually heard rednecks talking about how they liked him. (i bartend and serve tables)

at the bar the other night, i was talking to some teachers who had a lot of support for him. i looked him up, and he seems pretty good.

i hope that this guy is the real deal.

I can't stand this talk of how Obama isn't experienced enough. First off he was a community organizer in Chicago, helping organize job training programs for the poor. After that he went to Harvard Law and was the president of the Harvard Law Review. Then worked for a civil rights law firm and then taught constitutional law at University of Chicago. Oh, and was in the state legislature from 1996 to 2004. Sounds like plenty of experience to me.

you cant stand it huh. its killing you on the inside is it?

just becuase he was organized some job training for the poor doesnt make him overly qualified to be president of the united states.

he needs more life experience. he's barely in his mid 40s? nothing wrong with getting more experience. he is on the right track.

I'm simply pointing out one of the hurdles he is going to have to jump in order to win a NATIONAL election.

Any honestly, that resume doesn't scream 'PRESIDENT' to me. I am more convinced that a Governor, who has run an entire state, having the final say, is more ready for the presidency than any State Rep/Senator or even federal Rep/Senator.
