Just like you, all I have been trying to do is shed some light on the "BLIND". I am just coming at it from the other side of the issue. At least I have the respect not to belittle someone just because their opinion is different than mine.

"I choose to do research on a subject"

what did you use for research material to form your opinion??

    "unbiased scientific resources"????

where/who??? show me these unbiased scientific resources!!!

Here are just a couple of my scientific resources: You can go to http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?DB=pubmed and search HPV vaccine

Lai Ch et al. Human papillomavirus genotype in cervical cancer: A population-based study. International Journal of Cancer. 2007 Jan 31

    The American Cancer Society http://www.cancer.org/docroot/CRI/content/CRI_2_6x_FAQ_HPV_Vaccines.asp

Villa et al. Immunologic responses following administration of a vaccine targeting human papillomavirus Types 6, 11, 16, and 18.
    Vaccine. 2006 Jul 7;24(27-28):5571-83.

Harper et al. Sustained efficacy up to 4.5 years of a bivalent L1 virus-like particle vaccine against human papillomavirus types 16 and 18: follow-up from a randomised control trial.
    Lancet. 2006 Apr 15;367(9518):1247-55.

Additionally, I learned all about the pathogenesis (how HPV causes cancer) in my education to become what you call a "pseudo-intellectual".

  • How about the government justifying it's own morality and requiring all 11 and 12 year old girls and boys to take a tobacco vaccine.

Only thing is, they can't tax cancer patients. Ohhh those silly technicalities.

If anyone is stupid enough to smoke in the face of mountains of data that smoking substantially increases your risk for lung cancer and many other cancers, then that is their choice (and again, natural selection). I'm not advocating for the government to eliminate all free choice, if you want to smoke, go ahead.

Unless you never ever have sex, both men and women will be exposed to HPV. That is the point of the vaccine ... to prevent a preventable cancer!

it effect 9000 out of 150,000,000 women a year,so drug them all?

all you need is a regular pap smear and you can detect and safely treat without vaccine.

long term effects are unknown at this time.like being a guinea pig?

if you trust gov. supplied information that is furnished by the drug company itself, then that's your right.if you wanna inject this poison(this vaccine contains aluminum which is linked to Alzheimer's disease)into your daughter,it's your right.

BUT NO POLITICIAN IS GONNA DECIDE WHAT IS BEST FOR MY CHILD!!!

The problem is that the VAST majority of women in the world don't get regular pap smears because they don't have clean drinking water, let alone decent medical care. I agree that the vaccine hasn't been studied for 25 years, but should we wait that long to see if there are any side effects that haven't been detected in the 6 years it has been studied while there are women that are DYING of cervical cancer.

And I trust scientific studies conducted by scientists all over the world (France, Taiwan, UK). These studies are not funded by the pharmaceutical companies. They are conducted by people who have a genuine interest in saving lives.

Lastly, aluminum does not cause alzheimer's, it caused by the abnormal deposition of a protein called beta amyloid and from tangles of a protein called tau inside neurons. Higher levels of aluminum have been found in the brains of SOME alzheimer's patients but it hasn't been shown to be a cause of the diseaes by ANY scientific study.

I am not saying that any politician should make all health decisions for your child. My original objection to your posts was that you said all vaccines are dangerous and cause diseases, which has been conclusively proven to be false.

Not that I have any desire to argue with you at all JamMastaE, so please this is just a comment, ok? But regular pap smears is no guarantee that you will detect HPV or CINI II III or any other abnormalities. There are a percentage of false negatives (normal) and false positives every year with pap smears and as the recall rate for most women on a negative smear who has had a previously normal past history is two years, there is plenty of time for problems to develop between smears. And that is consisent within all laboratories. We had a very big case here in Australia a few years ago where a particular laboratory was incorrectly reporting pap smear results as negative (normal) when in fact the women had all kinds of problems. So I'd just like to make the point that a regular pap smear is a very important thing that a women can do to help guard against abnormalities BUT it doesn't stop HPV and it is also a fallable test.
    NOPE!!!

funny, cos neither i, nor any of the other well-informed people on here had ever heard it. and we were all asking you. i dont suppose you can find a legit source for it now can you?

it's not anyone who doesn't share my views, it's anyone who believes there is a huge conspiracy out there to get them. be it the christians who think there's a war on christmas and their religion, or the idiots who think vaccines are poisoned and cheney flew the 9/11 planes himself via remote. a lack of brain cells and a hyper-active imagination driven by a persecution complex is the only thing sufficient to explain such ideas.

I mess with these guys all the time Jam. It's the shear effort they exert attempting to be the smartest guy in the thread that I enjoy watching; and occasionally prodding them towards it.

Don't get me wrong though Jam. You're a complete tool.
