Thank you for generalizing the entire country. I'd tell ya to fuck off but what's the point.
  • i guess UK is better... by the way, Fox does not represent the USA, Fox is not even close from representing AMERICA...

thats a notable difference between people in UK and America... we can and will see the faults with out country, whereas some... i repeat some... americans just defend their country regardless of its actions or policies!! *cough*miller6969*

i think its good when someone says their country is shit... they dont mean the agricultural land is shit, they mean its being run shit... takes someone with proper pride in their country to realise when its being run shitty, false pride however is just going "go USA" whenever they invade someone, or whenever they let a huge contract go to China and thereby make 7000 people unemployed...

i think politics as a whole makes me sick :)
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

I'm not gonna start bashing America in general, but FOX News is the the biggest load of shit on the planet.

Exactly. Our country is pretty fucked up right now but that has to do with the leader only half of the country chose.

my response highlighted that poeple in the UK refer to their country as "shit" and thats because they dont like the way its run... your just typing " i love america"... we fucking know you do... you type it in about every other thread you respond to.

so you obviously think the way your country is being run is wonderful?

America at it's core is one of the greatest countries around, but right now america is sooooo far from that core, I have to say that America makes me sick.

Freedom of speech, equal rights and whatever else, this is what america is suppose to be about. but that's not what it is about at this point in time.

From what I've studied about the fouding fathers, i'm sure modern america would make them feel just as sick.
Because this is a great country with awsome people. this places gives me limitless opportunity. and I dontknow about yours but I still have freedom of speech.

nope I sure dont. I think this country needs a change in leadership. which is why a president can only be president for no longer then 8 years.

dont judge a whole country based on the website that is against the radical right wing agenda...of course you'd be pissed b/c they highlight every single bad thing the conservatives do. The UK by no means has it's act together either.

I love America. To say otherwise would be a ridiculous statement. I mean, how can you not love the Grand Canyon, for instance, or the Redwoods, or Pearl Jam, or Mark Twain, or a thousand and one other great things?
On the other hand, i do hate the American government, and a lot of right leaning, insular and bigoted pigs in places of power and influence - those blind bastards in 90% of the American media, those in charge of some of the big corporations, those in the arms trade e.t.c. I think it's a shame that a country like America has been allowed to be sold down the river by a handful of rich and powerful scumbags, and to be made the most hated country in the world.
America is too big and varied a place to be summed up easily. I believe that the man on the street in America is generally good, and that most people there are open-minded and inquistive about the wider world. It is currently a divided country and the last elections showed that.

well technically the Boston thing happened in the US... and then you went on to say what a shit country I live in.

    1. i live in scotland... the boston massacre didnt happen there
    2. it was 1770 for fucks sake... i had no say in my countries doings back then
    3. i dont need a 3 as the first 2 are good enough
