Hey, to those of you who threw me some tips about storage, thanks a lot. i did some research and went with the items below; an acid-free archival box (only $10 if you order it over the phone)
at some point, i may put some boards in the sleeves but i'm going to wait on that. also, the guys at the framing shop by my place gave me some large foam core boards and some clips to put my posters in while flattening them. it's been working out well so far.
i think this stuff should be fine for storing everything under my bed until i'm ready to frame them and it only cost me just over $40.
Just watch out for the silverfish and the mice under your bed...:p

I had some really cool surfing posters rolled up and they were stored in a cupboard under my stairs and a mouse chewed through several layers of rolled up paper..:(

Yeah, I just got that the other day actually. I got into an arguement with someone who claims "lowell isn't that bad anymore". I grew up in Holyoke, so I know bad.
and some polyethylene sleeves ($31.25 including shipping (yes, the sleeves are a little long for the box but i'm trimming them so it should be fine)).
Sorry if I'm not mentally picturing this correctly, but if you trim the sleeves won't you be trimming a seam? I guess it would still be a nice pocket for the posters and better than a tube. It might also be hard to find backing boards that fit the trimmed ones perfectly. You may have to trim the boards too so be sure the ones you get are 100% acid-free all the way through. Just wanted to be sure you thought of that. On the bright side, it'll be real easy to get the poster in them.

I took this and my Spain Hammerhead today to get a quote from the local framer. I ended up framing my Spain (should get it back next week) and I'm still thinking about this one. I like the way you did it, so I may copy it if you don't mind

What's a reasonable quote for framing a 20 x 24 and posters around that size?? I'm trying to get my posters framed sooner rather than later, but one store called "Affordable Art & Framing" quoted me $295, which I thought was quite a lot. Speaking of Hawk, there were probably 3 or 4 autographed pieces from him on display. We love our Buckeyes
I'm a Michigan fan, and Hawk is probably the only Buckeye I found myself a closet-fan of, in terms of watching football. He plays the game the right way, has character, and now I can openly root for him on the Packers!
