isn't that the law of supply and demand though? if more people want the art, it will undoubtedly increase in $$.

Yes, so why do we get angry when people take advantage of this and sell them?

Hey, I am back in my office....so I am back on the message pit.
I spent most of the summer northern Canada, which sucks big time for poster stuff!

Damn I wanted the s/n LA and Gorge posters so much.... better luck next time I guess.

I think its more to do with the fact that not everyone had a chance to get some of these posters. Those of us on the east coast didn't have much of an opportunity for the sub, which I believe went on sale a little after 2am and then Flatstock in Seatle.
Id rather see Brad with an Ebay account, it would be better paying him 150$ for his art then some dude you ran the fastest to the booth.

Im sure that Brad was a little pissed about ppl going to other artists asking them to buy prints for them. Thats a REALLY dirty move...

Thats crazy if thats really what happened. I felt bad for the majority of the other artists, because there was a nice size line at Brad's booth and pretty much no one at any of the other booths.

I was initially surprised that Brad was even allowing people to purchase more than on of each. Makes be beleive that he doens't mind the flippers.
  • Aren't flippers to artists like the paparazzi to celebrities...A necessary evil...High flipping prices make the artist more "valuable"..Just a thought..
  • Lou - welcome back. Again.

Anyone order a CCFA leg 1 print, from the second batch that went on sale, and receive it yet?

Edit - Actually, just checked the caringfan.org site, and it looks like my poster is/will be shipping today.

Klasuen was allowing everyone to purchase 2 of each poster, so I don't think that he is overly concerned with people flipping his posters. If he was he would have limited it to 1 each.

one of the reasons people want these posters so bad is because they are hard to get. You wouldn't care as much about the DC if everyone had one. Some people didn't have to have the Benaroya LP until it was sold out and the value increased.

What artist doesn't want to see his or her work increase in popularity and at the same time increase in $$.

    Just some thoughts

    That's what I've been saying.
