In other news, the DC poster sold for $810 today. Unreal.

and ninersfan just happened to be the seller.

    unreal indeed.

i would bet my copy of that DC poster that he bids on his own stuff to keep jacking the price up. why else would the bidders ID be kept private?

Good observation. I didn't think Ninersfan could commit a more heinous crime, but I stand corrected. What a dickbag(s).

I agree with the previous statement. The only reason to keep the ID private is to have someone bid up your auction and inflate the price. His posters seem to consistently go for higher than what they're worth...

his claim is that he doesn't want people soliciting the bidders of his auction to sell posters to them. i've bought several posters from ebay and not once has someone "solicitated" me with an offer to sell me a poster.

    ninersfan(s) needs to go down.

the funnier or perhaps more ironic thing is.,,

these will likely go for 25-35 bucks unsigned/un-numbered on the 10C site. ( * again - eventually )- perhaps the auction/buyer didnt know this , and that is even sadder/

lets hope 10c comes through, but there are no guarantees. i still can't believe anyone paid $800 for that poster. its cool, but its not that cool.

It's not a quarter that cool. I would pay what it's worth $25.

Kind of wierd that Ames put on sale all those Ireland/UK posters (and sold out of them) before the UK show..

It's kind of wierd that Ames keeps on getting contracts to design posters for PJ.

I would like to see PJ have fans submit designs for each individual show.

A lot of the Ames posters just dont do it for me.

    HEROES ON THE WALL
Available now: new BTR poster benefits NJ FoodBank
Here at Backstreet Records, one of the items we get the most requests for is a Born to Run poster. Guess what -- your wish is our command! Actually, it's thanks to the generosity of BTR photographer Eric Meola that what you see above can be coming to a wall near you. Not only is Meola donating his proceeds from his upcoming book, Born to Run: The Unseen Photos, to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, he has also created this spectacular poster to benefit them as well. As pictured, the image is an alternate shot of Bruce and Clarence from the cover session, beautifully reproduced as a 20" x 30" poster on 100 lb. glossy stock. This poster is a Backstreets exclusive, available here and only here, with all proceeds going to the FoodBank. Order yours now!

You can also pre-order Born to Run: The Unseen Photos now in our online shop: the standard edition (due Oct. 10) or the limited edition (due Nov. 14). We expect demand for latter to be high, with a numbered edition of only 1,350. Guarantee a copy by ordering now!
This fall, many of the "Unseen Photos" will be on display in Birmingham, England. Meola's first-ever gallery exhibition of his Bruce Springsteen photographs will feature 35 large black & white prints. Coiniciding with the Seeger Sessions Band's return to the UK, the exhibition begins on Saturday, November 11. Visit the Snap Galleries website for more details.

i love bruce, but did you ever see the SNL skit where sandler does his impersonation of him?

classic. they keep cutting to clips of the sax player clapping his hands during the dancing in the dark video.

yeah i have seen his spoof of the boss.

speaking of SNL- appears to be a major shakeup over there- Tina Fey and Rachel Dratch have left to start the sitcom for NBC - and i heard the're ready to fire Chris Parnel and Horatio Snaz ( ? -- dunno why ) and they offered Maya Rudolph to leave on her own accord.( before they fire her )
wtf ? as if the show isnt poor enugh ? ? ? amy poehler & Fred Armitsen are the only funny players remaining,...
