How to Stump an Atheist

  • What if all this universe exists in the firing of one synapse some gigantic things brain....but it has no idea we're here.

Just like we can't look into quarks and recognize stuff...it's all purely random.

    powers of 10 anyone?

Notice that exponents 10 to the (-10) and 10 to (-11) resemble stars and outer space? well....that's a single carbon atom. The building blocks of all life earth.

I don't subscribe to planks constant....it's nonsense in my opinion. I say infinite big, infinite small. You can always cut something in half and have a piece of it/something left over to cut in half again. There can be no such thing as nothing in this universe. there is always something, and it's extremely easily proven with simple logic.

Absolute nothingness is not observed in this universe.

Therefore we are everything and nothing at the same time. Perfect for this filter in magnitude along the scale of infinity.
wait.... but.... sometime ago awhile back you were discussing that everything has been predetermined. so how could you also say it happens at random?

God or No God... seriously... is your belief system so fucking weak that you need to prove others wrong... because you cannot prove you are right?
Have faith in your own PERSONAL beliefs and let it be.

i've felt that way at times, but other times i think that any justification towards the spiritually healing & non-domineering strains of religion will only lead to the justification of the more intently sinister strains. right now is one of those times. :D i just think there are other, non-superstitious ways for people to better themselves, and i think those ways will work better in the long run.

I believe that you are all correct in saying that God is not of this world. On his first day he created light. His first two creatures were Adam and Eve, made in His form. "Sin" was created by their act with the forbidden apple. Before this, on an atomic level, God is probably everything, from every element, gas, and mineral. He is the Earth's core and beyond the Earth's galaxy. These are all the "elemental" GODS, the ones that the cavemen depended upon in the beginnings of man. Now, we feel more comfortable knowing that God comes in the shapes of man/woman, here to protect us, guide us, teach us how to live proper and decent lives, and how to love.
