and Mrs.Clinton is still with this piece of crap??? why????
as a matter of fact she could probably be considered an enabler to his disgusting behavior......right???? she was/is always in denial about his escapades......

so how can i vote a person.....weather male or female.....for president of the united states.....

when they cant show any backbone in their personal life????

There's a reason they call it "personal life". Why can't Americans focus on the issues?!

I beleive that people who "hate" Hillary also hate her husband Bill and his time in the White House. They also hate the idea of such a strong, independent WOMAN running for president. She is abnormal in their pea brains as she defies their beliefs in what a woman should and should not do - and in this case, a girl should not be running for president, leave that for the regular white guys.

I say 'Fuck You!' to anyone who hates her. Surely, there are people who disagree with her and for many reasons do not want to vote for her, but to simply HATE Hillary is a sign of deeper social and moral issues and I have no time for such stone-age thinking assholes!

Sadly, I'm also dismayed that a lot of women don't like her either, and I feel that their prejudice against her also stems from their social indoctrination by this paternalistic society in regards to the political roles of women.

All I can say is that I'm glad that more people either love, like or 'tolerate' her enough and will vote for her in Nov. '08.

so you'd rather have a woman back hillary because she's a woman too; instead of using their own minds to make an educated decision.

Shouldn't Barbara have left W when he was an alcoholic and a cokehead?

What if Bill has straightened up now? (which I believe he has.) Does that have any influence on your opinion of her?

I just think most people won't admit the real reasons they don't like her.

bill has showed 30 years of being a wife cheating sexual harrassing piece of crap.....i have a hard time believing he has "straightened up"

  • Wow, stereotype much? I thought Bill Clinton was a decent president (best of my lifetime, but thats certainly not saying much when Bush #1 is the 2nd best) and I would certainly vote for a woman president (Barbara Boxer or Madeline Albright would make good candidates) but I most certainly do hate Hilary Clinton. Why? The triangulation. The fact that she leads any candidate on either side in special interest money. The fact that she defended lobbyists at the Daily KOS convention. The fact that people high up in her campaign play the gender card if you criticize her. The fact that most media sources has declared her candidacy inevitable and her campaign has claimed that they're being ganged up on. The fact that she criticized Obama and Edwards for using "right wing playbook" tactics when they criticized her and just a few days ago while speaking about Obama she said the presidency could not handle "on the job training" a line used by, of all people, RUDY GUIILIANI to criticize her during a fox interview several months ago. The fact that she claims her experience as a first lady as policy experience, my Fiancee is a teacher, I guess I should go there and demand a job and explain that I'm qualified because I live with her and will help her with her planning on occasion. Guess what, people can disagree with you and not deserve to be attacked personally, shocking I know.

Maybe you don't hate her, but I happen to view her as hated.

I am no fan. She's pro-war and has become just another politician. But I still have some agreement with the orginal post. Those of us old enough to remember will remember her being hated from day 1--before Bill even won the 1992 election. Nancy? Barbara? Laura? Not too many people hated them. But Hillary was just hated right off the bat. The only thing I can come up with is that she was the least "June Cleaver" of the bunch. I think America still wants June Cleaver to be the first lady.

But she's not running for first lady this time. She's running for president. And I'd like to think it's her views and not her gender that are going to end her run. But it may be a bit of both.

good post. but let's go a bit further.
the women i know hate her because by not divorcing bill; it was a slap in the face to all women. her message was that infidelity is normal and women should take whatever the man dishes out.

the men i know hate her because she's a chameleon and changes colour to satisfy the crowd she's speaking to; without worry about what she said to the last crowd.

the politicians and people that follow the "back side" of her campain; hate her because she's trying to trick the american people. all her campain contriutions come from big corporations who are trying to create this big machine to run the country. they want someone in their pocket and she's just the one. bill gave in so she will too.
it insults the american people when she takes money from the people she claims she'll fight against.

Speedy, you're too smart to resort to something like that not to vote for someone. Vote against her because she's a worthless Senator. After all, none of us know much about their "relationship" and if she really gave a shit about his cheating. My guess is no. I think they have a very different relationship where I don't think love comes into the question.

well; by barbera standing by W's side when he was sick (yes; it's an illness) she showed strength. she showed conviction.

but what bill did isn't an illness. sure; he claimed sex addiction but when you talk to counsellers who deal in this illness; sex addicts need sex several times a day. they crave sex with different people. so if bill has the addiction; he didn't have any time to run the country. [and that explains a lot]

    well....

then if she didnt care about his cheating....
    didnt care about their marriage.....
and the marriage was all an act.....
then that just makes her FULL OF SHIT!!!!!!

another good reason not to vote for her.

    I DONT TRUST HER!!!
    Take me piece by piece.....

Zogby Poll: Obama, Edwards Strong but Clinton Slips Against GOPers

General election match-ups show the New York Senator would lose against every top Republican

UTICA, New York – A new Zogby Interactive survey shows Democrat Hillary Clinton of New York would lose to every one of the top five Republican presidential contenders, representing a reversal of fortune for the national Democratic front–runner who had led against all prospective GOP opponents earlier this year.

Meanwhile, fellow Democrats Barack Obama of Illinois and John Edwards of North Carolina would defeat or tie every one of the Republicans, this latest survey shows.

Figures from the earlier surveys cited in this news release are from Zogby International telephone surveys, including 1,012 likely voters in the July survey and 993 likely voters in the May survey.

The online survey included 9,150 likely voters nationwide, and was conducted Nov. 21–26, 2007. It carries a margin of error of +/– 1.0 percentage points.

  • Hillary would do a great job as President. Obama will be too minority focused. Edwards is just a dork.

Thanks for the in depth commentary there.

Obama would be so minority focused that Jesse Jackson would say the only Dem candidate to care about black people in this race is John Edwards? Yeah, Obama must be WAY too minority focused.

Yeah, that makes sense that you would say that about Obama.
  • I'm jealous that you probably got to vote for Obama as a senator. The coolest senator I've ever voted for is Ron Wyden, who nobody knows and has a wicked lisp. Good healthcare plan though.....

Worked side by side with him on his Senate campaign. Rode in my car, ate Hardee's chicken w/ the man, organized a photo shoot w/ him which he still uses, and was on a first name basis with him through his '04 campaign. Great guy...I mean GREAT guy.
  • Super cool. I'm currently working on a senate campaign as a volunteer. I saw Obama speak over the summer and have heard great things from people who hung out with him at the sojourners conference. That being said I'm voting for Joe Biden if he's still a candidate by Oregon's primary.

Nothing wrong w/ voting for Biden. Personally, I would want him as Obama's Secretary of State. I've met Senator Biden before too, he's a straight shooter which is something I really appreciate.
