Many People truly HATE Hilary Clinton

She is not worse than the other politicians. She is at worst just another politician.
I can only conclude she is hated because she is a powerful woman.
The first step is to recognize the problem.

count me in! i hate her because she doesn't give a straight answer to anything. she'll take 2 positions at the same time; depending on who she's talking to. when cornered; she attacks the other candidates. of her own bloody party yet. what about the stuff she stole from the whitehouse when she left? will she "return it if elected?" her big hillarycare project fizzled in the 90's when she realized it couldn't be done. instead of a straight answer; she'll give you a laugh and call for party unity.
if you'd like more reasons; let me know.0 -
I beleive that people who "hate" Hillary also hate her husband Bill and his time in the White House. They also hate the idea of such a strong, independent WOMAN running for president. She is abnormal in their pea brains as she defies their beliefs in what a woman should and should not do - and in this case, a girl should not be running for president, leave that for the regular white guys.
I say 'Fuck You!' to anyone who hates her. Surely, there are people who disagree with her and for many reasons do not want to vote for her, but to simply HATE Hillary is a sign of deeper social and moral issues and I have no time for such stone-age thinking assholes!
Sadly, I'm also dismayed that a lot of women don't like her either, and I feel that their prejudice against her also stems from their social indoctrination by this paternalistic society in regards to the political roles of women.
All I can say is that I'm glad that more people either love, like or 'tolerate' her enough and will vote for her in Nov. '08.~*~Me and Hippiemom dranketh the red wine in Cleveland 2003~*~

There are some people who have a really unjustified hatred of her, but I'm not sure thati it's only because she is a woman...
She carries a lot of baggage from Bill's presidency, and she is just too much of a politician. Same as Mitt Romney, she never gives a straight answer, just uses vague, focus group tested language, and will adjust her position depending on the current climate.
She just has an image problem that she can't shake.... A lot of times, she comes across as a smug and cold person, but hearing people talk that have gotten close to her, personally they say she is a very nice person. I dunno...
What is funny is how much the right hates her, but she is probably the furthest right of any of the democratic candidates. My whole life

I agree w/ this 100%. I love Bill, but cannot stand Hillary. Her looking past the primary and getting into general election mode will be her downfall. By doing that and going towards the center she has alienated the left of the Democratic Party, and they'll throw their support behind Obama or Edwards.0 -

Well, that depends on who she is talking to at a particular given moment.Do you remember Rock & Roll Radio?0 -
I agree with the original post. That is the only conclusion I can come up with for the hatred, I mean absolute hatred, many conservatives have for Hilary. She isn't even a liberal. Her politics are very near center.0

This is somewhat true, but I can't think of a single issue where she has come out on left of any of the other democratic candidates. But if you took her comments on foreign policy alone, she could be a republican.
Every once in a while she throws out these far-fetched proposals like gov't funded 401k accounts just to give the far left something that they want to hear, knowing full well that it will never happen. My whole life

Why does this have to come down to using the word "hate" such a strong word to use to discribe views on a person? I myself dislike Hilary and do not intend on voting for her. My vote will go to Dennis Kucinich.
I hope the hate can eliminated and dislike could be used towards discribing Hilary.

Maybe you don't hate her, but I happen to view her as hated.
I am no fan. She's pro-war and has become just another politician. But I still have some agreement with the orginal post. Those of us old enough to remember will remember her being hated from day 1--before Bill even won the 1992 election. Nancy? Barbara? Laura? Not too many people hated them. But Hillary was just hated right off the bat. The only thing I can come up with is that she was the least "June Cleaver" of the bunch. I think America still wants June Cleaver to be the first lady.
But she's not running for first lady this time. She's running for president. And I'd like to think it's her views and not her gender that are going to end her run. But it may be a bit of both.I cannot come up with a new sig till I get this egg off my face.0 -
There was a good reason Bill had had interns sucking him off..
And if that relationship wasn't about power for her, she would have divorced his ass.
I don't like Hilary.0 -

yeah, it's why i keep saying i hope she doesn't get the nomination. i'm sure she'd do just as well as any other crappy candidate currently running, but so many people outright HATE her that i dont think she'd ever win. she provokes more backlash than enthusiasm. she does carry a lot of bill baggage too. i've heard she's a very kind person though and there's no doubt she's incredibly intelligent. i just think she's better suited for the senate than the presidency.
there is something about the clintons. i never understood the hatred of bill by newt and the new right. he was as far right as the dems get. you dont get much further from the commie left than the clintons.0 -
I've been sayinng it for years, and its still true: Hillary will never win a presidential election. Too many people dislike her.0

i have to disagree. Sure there are some who dislike Hilary for this reason. Most of them are Republicans. There are many others however, who don't like her simply because, lets face it, she isn't very likeable. Personally, i don't care for her. And honestly, as far as presidential leadership is concerned, i had no problem with Bill. Nor do most non-republicans both domestically and abroad. He's actually a pretty popular guy. Many people dislike her DESPITE Bill, not BECAUSE of Bill. Nor do i have problems with her being a strong woman. i would have no problem voting for a woman. Just not THIS woman. There is a huge difference between being a strong woman, and just being a Bitch. Personally, i think Hilary is in the latter category. i don't like her dirty, mudslinging, "oooooooh, i know something bad about the other guy, but i'm not telling... (because i don't really know shit)" type of politics. She's losing her lead and she's flat out skeered. i'm sincerely frightened by the probability of her winning the democratic nomination as it will be yet another case of Democrats shooting themselves in the foot. She has less than a snowballs chance in a general election. She just isn't very likeable. i don't trust her. She's waaaaay to much of a politician. A dirty one at that."When all your friends and sedatives mean well but make it worse... better find yourself a place to level out."0 -

i might also add that greatly outnumbering the people who dislike Hilary because of Bill or because she a woman, are those who will vote FOR Hillary simply because of Bill and simply because she's a woman. Let's be honest here.
Her husband and her vagina are actually the two best things she has going for her."When all your friends and sedatives mean well but make it worse... better find yourself a place to level out."0 -

it's almost impossible to imagine anyone saying this kind of thing about a male candidate. who gives a shit if she's cold, smug, nice, etc? the question is, is she capable of doing the job? forget that she has breasts and no penis for a minute."Ladies and gentlemen, the President of the United States, Barack Obama."

He was a "cockblocker," plain and simple. And I think the resentment's only grown, because when the Republicans finally got their "date"....well, look how that turned out. And now they're back out to pasture. And so quickly, too.
And for that reason alone, I'll call him the best president in my lifetime. Still not reason enough for me to get excited about sending him (through her) back. I believe they've done their duty, and it's time to move on.0 -
my problem with Mrs. Hillary Clinton?????
her husband Bill is a wife cheating, sexual harrasing, piece of human garbage...
and Mrs.Clinton is still with this piece of crap??? why????
as a matter of fact she could probably be considered an enabler to his disgusting behavior......right???? she was/is always in denial about his escapades......
so how can i vote a person.....weather male or female.....for president of the united states.....
when they cant show any backbone in their personal life????Take me piece by piece.....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....0
