All in fun Gonzo, all in Fun! :)

Does the 1977 stand for the last time you got laid? ;)

Ok, back on topic...McCain made a huge play here...it backfired...it certainly put him in a hole for the election, and unless Palin changes and produces a great debate (I'm leary now) it's all over.

    Now Now.
It was the year I was born actually.

    Anyways...

McCain had better come up with something quick or else this shipwreck of a campaign will continue to spin down the shitter.

McCain at campaign HQ, making calls

After a late night flying back to Washington, McCain is at his campaign HQ making calls to push a deal on the financial bailout, according to a top aide.

He won't be headed to Capitol Hill today.

As for why not, Mark Salter told the campaign pool reporter: "Because he can effectively do what he needs to do by phone."

The campaign is to put out a list of people he called later.

Salter also said they felt good about the debate, responding to the Obama campaign and some observers who thought the Republican was condescending.

We’re all very happy about it…it was very tough debate but I don’t think our
candidate went over the line," Salter said. "He stayed on offense in a respectful way."

So ... he CAN effectively do what he needs to by phone ... see, no need to "suspend his campaign" or hurry back to Washington ... what a lugnut.
