Either that, or he didn't want to get labled as a flag burning hippy and have it cost him his congressional seat. Lousy career politicians. ;)

And perhaps the credit card issue was one where Obama was convinced the best way to curb people's credit card spending is to raise the rates. After all, my rate was why I stopped using credit cards. Best thing I ever did, too. :D

I don't think that's it. It's that most of the people locked up are in for drug charges. Plus, I'd say the majority of the time someone is charged with selling they're not even selling, just using. They beef up charges on technicalities because they know it gives them more room to compromise.

I highly doubt that. He's always stood up for what for he believes even when it hurt his political career. See Muny Light.

Just a little tough love, eh?...nothing to do with contributions. That must be it. ;)

Is there one fucking federal judge in this country that sides with the honorable best interests of this country?

    Fuck the philosophical vagaries

    puppet schemes,
    and for the
    boner in my silky robe
    i want to philosophize

    I'm fucking pissed off!

I need one federal judge that sees the wrong in this, and
I swear, if you find me this judge, I will bring these fuckers to his bench

    With a citizen's arrest!
