    judge cooperman has spoken .

there was no definitive proof that the officers didnt feel threatened for their lives.

at least , in the eyes of the law and all the factors beyond a reasonable doubt.

3 nypd officers shot a black man 50 x or so
they thought he and his friends had a gun
it was the guy's bachelor party
they were leaving a strip club and the officers were undercover
    lots more to the case

so they left a strip club and the cops thought they had a gun... do cops never have erections? :D

but this might kick off badly... i hope not... but it might :(
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

Agree with the above. Altho the result is not entirely a surprise--many commentators following the trial predicted an acquittal.

sean bell is tied somehow to my surrounding area.
maybe his fiancee lived in far rockaway- one way or the other-
i feel for his family ( his parents and children )
now we see if the feds press charges .

thats one of the main concerns in the case
and the fact theat their was no gun
  • for those new to the case who haven;t seen any reports, just so you know, two of the three defendants were african-american. for rev al, this is not a race issue, but rather a police issue.

31 shots fired at an unarmed man? without knowing anything about the case, i try and close my eyes for a sec, imagine holding a gun and pulling the trigger 31 times. wouldn't something tell you well before you got the the 31st shot that no bulletts were coming back at you?
    jesus christ.

    take care everyone there today.

The Pope's Sunday morning meeting with families of 9/11 was actually kind of touching..

    I so agree.....
    I cant stand him.

As soon as I see he is involved with a situation I automatically go to support the side he is not on and I know I'm not alone in feeling that way. I don't understand why people he attempts to contact dont see it!

Ok ok ok, I'll give you that, and even though I'm a jew I kind of felt like it brought another piece of closure to the area. I lost my brother down there on that day, any sort of closure is good.
