I Was 3 Rows Behind Ed And Theo Tonight!!

Just got back from the M's-Sox game. I scored 4th row tix next to the Boston dugout on TM yesterday. Any way about the top of the second inning here comes Ed and a couple other guys ( i think one was his bro) and they sit in the front row right in front of us. Theo comes down soon after and sits with Ed for the entire game. About the fourth inning i get up the nerve to ask Ed for a picture and he was very cool about it. (I just told him keep up the good work, that's all i could think of saying at the moment without sounding like a Psycho fan). After the game Ed and Theo were very gracious to people who wanted autos and pictures. I'll try and post my pictures tommorow but i'll just say Ed was way fucking cool to everyone who noticed him.

    Nope i didn't bungle it, and Ed was wearing a Red Sox batting helmet but rooting for the M's.

    I have no idea why but I'm very sure I'd have fucked it up badly....

    I have so much stuff I'd like to ask Eddie, but given the chance I'd become a jibbering moron.

    Wish someone would ask him about the new record straight out though, so we can see the plan.

    On a similar note, i met tim armstrong from Rancid last year, the guy was so cool but I became such an idiot instantly....when something like 'Hey Tim, thanks for all the music, and would you please play junkie Man tonight' would have been fine, followed by hows the plans going for the new record....

    its not difficult is it? But no, I stuttered something, got my ticket signed and ran away with a huge smile

    that's great hear (thought it's not really news I guess :)).

    but it does have to get draining, being a person other people recognize at basball games, etc.

    Very cool. 2 of my favorite things together. PJ and baseball. I have a huge man crush on Theo.

    Theo is so damn cool about it too. Plays RITFW with them, lets them have batting practice at Fenway. Sits with ed for a game. Guess that's why he can handle Boston. he's mr. cool.

    I love eddie's passion for baseball. He's not all high and mighty and a sports basher.

    When it comes to baseball teams, Ed sure gets around. First it was the White Sox hat, then it was the Cubs, then throwing the first pitch in Cincinnati, and now it is the Red Sox. Crazy.

    He did throw out the first pitch at a Reds game... they were playing the Cubs.
