    i never gave this thread any attention before.
    i am a tree myself.
    i'll have to go thru this entire thread and view this more clearly.
    i will try and post some pics of trees that i have taken.

    douglas fir, pacific red cedar, hemlock, perhaps a picture of the northern california redwoods.

    What kind is it? The shape and bark look like a pine tree, but the leaves don't!

    Um, I have no idea. The tree was in the backyard of the holiday house I was staying in and I just liked it.
