"We have to change the concept of patriotism to one of “matriotism” — love of humanity that transcends war. A matriarch would never send her own children off to wars that kill other people’s children." Newspapers matter not to me, yeah
No more crowbars to my head, yeah
I'm trading stories with the leaves instead, yeah
Wave to all my friends, yeah
They don't seem to notice me, no
All their eyes trained on the street, yo, oh
Sidewalk cigarettes and scenes, (tem-pted)
Up here so high I start to shake
Up here so high the sky I scrape
I'm so high I hold just one breath here within my chest
Just like innocence
(eddie's down in his home)
(oh, the blue sky it's his home)
(eddie's blue sky home)
(oh, the blue sky it's his home)
I remember when, yeah
I swore I knew everything, oh yeah
Let's say knowledge is a tree, yeah
It's growing up just like me, yeah
I'm so light the wind he shakes
I'm so high the sky I scrape
I'm so light I hold just one breath and go back to my nest
Sleep with innocence...
Up here so high the boughs they break
Up here so high the sky I scrape
Had my eyes peeled both wide open, and I got a glimpse
Of my innocence... got back my inner sense...
Baby got it, still got it
This picture makes me want to listen to Neil Young.
What? That one I posted ^ ?
Tell ya what if you're ever in Victoria, we'll set up on the porch and pop on some Neil, have a few bevys together and watch the tree paddock as the sun sets. Tis magical then.
Thanks am. We think it's pretty special and we're damn lucky to have it.
Tis a very beautiful spot.
That view is my favorite because my gran planted all those trees.
First tree picture is a trail I hike around on in the Olympic forest.
Second tree picture is a road leading to my house. (kidding, i wish)
Third tree picture is one of many waterfalls around here.
Fourth tree picture is a redwood tree burl with a fern on my picnic table.
Fifth tree picture is my big huge neighbor up from the back-door.
(sorry raindrops on the camera lens and some are blurry).

Thanks!
Jeanie, I like those trees with the red flowers quite a bit!
Here are a few for today, while I'll be away in the kitchen--

I'm not sure what they are--which is why I've called them merely circles. *shrugs*
A nice warm one!
