Hope I'm doing this right. Can't remember what I used last time but anyway...here's my favorite tree, my dear friend and confidant. Unfortunately the drought has made her very sick indeed and I think this will probably be the last year I see her in all her glorious green finery.
She got pruned back pretty hard last year by the tree loppers and this year on account of it being dry for so long she's dropping branches fairly regular. Just a couple of days ago she dropped another huge branch onto the clothesline. :( We're gonna have to cut her down I know but I really don't want to say good bye.
