Its a snow day for Northeast Ohio !!!! YIPPIE. Over a foot of snow fell last night and the temps outside are in the 20's. My kids are just so excited to be home.
The celestial firmament has some twisted tricks up its sleeve. Major life changes are afoot: the more you fight them, the surer they'll happen. Push them and they will resist. This behaviour's not unique.

A few days ago I read (in a rather light book, but, anyway...) that to resist inevitable change is like hanging onto the tow-rope after you've fallen while water-skiing. A person can try to fight it, but it's a wasted effort to hang on and struggle once you've hit the water. :? That image made sense to me since I used to water-ski as a kid.
i am excited i have been writing for the last hour.
i been on a break i guess.
this wasn't writers block.
i don't know how long the break was; felt like many weeks.
why am i so excited?
i believe the first stages of this small break from writing was my subconscious protecting me from further madness. seems this poetry bit drives a fucker completely fucking nuts. i believe wholeheartedly my mind needed to do nothing as far as deep thinking and vision seeking go.
i feel much better and am excited to get goofy some more.
here is my poem.
it hasn't really been cleaned up yet and it may not even be finished.
from the white raven
came an aged cold air
the clouds… all of them
they ached
they shed down tears
a mad sky throwing oceans to earth
here
all things seem dead
never going back again
are the going away weapons
these are the hills
the bodies
the mounds
these are the hawk’s wings
this is my subconscious protecting me
thrashing around i pulled the sheets half-way off my bed...now i'll probably be all jumpy most of the day...hope it goes away soon :(
a peaceful nights sleep would be soooo nice
I know someone who suffers those, and I know the pain it causes. Hope things settle down for you soon.
thanks dude...
sometimes i go a good while in between having them...it'd sure be easier if they came with some kind of warning...though i reckon if they did i'd never go to sleep
when you lie, tell half-truths, withhold pertinent info is it any wonder when ppl don't believe you? just because you deceive yourself about the cause/effect of your actions (or inaction) too doesn't negate the results ...you may think you're gaining something by ignoring reality but you're causing others harm & fucking yourself in the process, man
yeah negative shit happens but it's how you deal with it....there's nothing wrong with honoring your word, being honest & positive, yet still being realistic...
My son's classroom are writing "letters" to a young service man - named Joe, who is in Afganistan.
We are also putting together a care package filled with goodies he may need....
The kids are so excited to be doing this -
Thank you Mr. Doloresco - for the valuable lesson you teach our kids. You're a great teacher who truly loves teaching children. I see this every day by you're actions.
when the water is a risen
tell me where you gonna go
when the dams are all a bustin
and it's floodin down below
when the rushin of the river
tells you there's no palce to hide
you'll be high n dry here babe
right by my side.
high and dry
with the waters at high tide
with you here by my side
we're high n dry.
high and dry.
when the rivers are a spinnin
and you can not find a hole in which to hide
except the one yer fillin
and muddy old man river
trys to take you for a ride
you'll be high n dry here babe
right by my side.
high n dry with the rivers down below
rushin there they wanna go
but they can't touch you no more
high n dry with the water at high tide
and you here by my side
we're high n dry.

This is most definitely not working.

to not question your government is unpatriotic."

take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say
angels share laughter

:? :eh:
Then I'll be done, then I'll be done, then I'll be done, then I'll be done, then I'll be done...
I've been busy with work and christmas - that I'm missing the poetry section. I hope to get to it today...
would it change anything?

I agree -
It may not work out the way you want it to. But, at least you spoke your mind.
Better than wondering the " what if's " - that will eat away at you....
