Eddie Vedder's Song (MP3) For The Chicago Cubs Available Now!

At the request of Ernie Banks, Eddie threw together a song for the Cubs ("All the Way"). He got a pretty good live version of it at the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago this August. It's now being played on Chicago radio and at the Bleacher Bars around Wrigleyville. We have decided to make the song available for download - you can get it here in the next few days. There's a chance we'll also make available some hard copy CDs and we're looking into souvenir 45 singles, as well. Check back here for the latest.

    Cool. I remember hearing him play it the first time at the Vic. He screwed it up pretty bad...but I still loved it. They'll probably release that version. Sike.

    I was at the show, and my wife and I had to cringe a bit because we are big White Sox fans. But of course we chimed in with the singing, it was in good fun, and most of my friends are Cubs fans, so we sang it for them.

    And just because Eddie is a Cubs fan just goes to show that nobody's perfect.

    Wish the rest of the show was going to be made available, ...what a night!
