the nz 98 shows are possibly the rarest boots in the pj universe. they're not in that thread, this thread - or anywhere else for that matter. do they even exist? that's why it's kind of amusing to me that pj haven't played here since they started doing their own boots. coz it means nz pj recordings are still seemingly non-existant.
    it's nice to be rare.
    but i'd rather not be!

I'm not sure, but I think that was me! Did I meet you while you were waiting out back to see Mike? And then later I saw you inside and you had gotten your photo taken with him?

Otherwise, I did meet you anyway. I'm pretty sure I went for a big mission before the gig to find something for dinner. Was it fush and chups? I can't remember 100%.

Edit: I can confirm that is probably was me :D

Anyone got their Limited Edition book yet? Getting a bit worried to be honest. But as long as no one has theirs then it's not too bad... If it was just mine it'd be a problem.

That's the one. I checked with her and she confirmed it for me :) We didn't find one and had to settle for a pizza place instead :(

It was cool going to Oz to see them (and being front row in Melbourne and meeting all the peeps, you peeps not PJ peeps, afterwards/at Gus' etc) but next time I really hope they play here!!!

(You have included 6 images in your message. You are limited to using 5 images so please go back and correct the problem and then continue again.

I think we came home the next day or the day after so I don't think we ever did :(

Melbourne 3. I bought them from the box office outside just before the gig! We managed to snag a setlist (one page, second half of the show, including encores) and two Mike picks, so we framed them all up with a photo I took (no flash! ;)) and the tickets. It hangs next to the poster from the show (which I couldn't buy there because I was waiting to get tickets and they sold out, but I managed to buy from the Beyond the Pale shop which was right near where I was staying!). It was a pretty lucky night.

It was shipped on the 27th. It's just strange that no one in NZ has got theirs yet. Something must've gone wrong. Well, I'm only sure of one other person, bm12music. I'll ask again, did anyone else here (in New Zealand) order the LE poster book and if so, did you get it yet?

10 years - yesterday & tomorrow - since pj played nz.

how does that make us all feel?

    happy? sad? old? ignored?

    or all of the above.

(no book here yet either man)

My only suggestion is get onto Liam and beg him to beg Eddie when he's touring with him, to come do some shows - with PJ or solo - in NZ...

A regular looking, face value ticket (2 of them actually) for front-row centre. I don't know how it became available but I wasn't going to turn them down even though I had arranged to get two tickets from another guy (although I didn't really arrange a time to meet him, or even remember who he was). When I turned around, who did I see approaching me? The other ticket guy! Could the timing have been better/worse? Anyway, we managed to sell his for nearly face value, I made up the difference and we were all happy :) Especially me. I was the guy standing dead still in the front row. Hey, I may only be there once. I'm not going to waste it by jumping around being silly! :)

What kind of condition was yours in? Mine was pretty average. Considering how expensive the book was and how much shipping cost, I'm pretty disappointed it wasn't packed better. A couple of corners are dinged, and one corner has the seal ripped and the slip cover sort of torn. I mean it's not the end of the world, but like I say pretty disappointing. :(

mine arrived yesterday YAY and, although it's okay, the slipcover has wee dings in two corners, i thought the shipping was more expensive because they'd double-boxed it or something...but no. this, however, is my ONLY complaint.

it's the most beautiful book i own...in fact, it's the most beautiful book i've ever seen. it's stunning. i'm so pleased to have it! and i was REALLY pleased to see jeff describe a poster i own (and i only have 3 ames posters) as 'the grail of pearl jam posters' - fuckin a.
