    freya annoyed me when she tried to be cute. i didn't answer her and much to her credit she didn't wait for one. i heard her talking and knew it was arlo on the other end. just the thought of him made me feel dirty for what had happened. what i had allowed to happen. i could feel the rage building up inside me again. i stood up and as i got to the bedroom door, freya appeared in front of me. i didn't want her talking to me.

    i slammed the door shut after her, leaning against it. what was i doing? things with arlo were going so well and now this. i know i should talk to him but right now i didn't want to talk to anyone. most of all a do-good sister who thought everything would turn out alright if only people would speak to each other. i know freya meant well, but she was driving me crazy hovering so close. i sank to the floor wrapping my arms around my legs. resting my head on my knees didn't stop the crying.
