In the early years of high school I had a real thing for Leo Dicaprio, I think I had a double page collage in my school diary and I remember going to see Titanic on the first day it was showing at the cinema. :fp:
From when I was pretty young, I liked Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp & Keanu Reeves. They're all looking their age now though! I also think George Clooney is good looking .

You must be so excited about your baby . How many days is your baby due before the BDO? You should tell bubs to stay put for a few extra days so he/she can listen to PJ in utero at the BDO .

And dear sweet Elmo. Your life will not be completely over. You are just starting a new chapter, and you will be amazed looking back at how absolutely totally and completely in love you fall with this baby. Do you remember in Iconoclasts when Eddie was talking about "his girl" wanting a baby. And they decided to wait for a couple of years and then it just happened. And how if they had waited that it just would have been two wasted years. You will feel just this way. Without a doubt. I just know it. It is going to be awesome!

So awesome isn't it? Now confessions, girls... How many times did you watch it and did you try to strategically pause at multiple points to get a longer glimpse? my answers: about 15 times since last night and yes.
I see that 10c thinks it's Elmo's birthday. If they are right happy birthday to you, sweetie! Hope you are feeling fantastic and beautiful. Ocean is right... Your life will not be over and they are worth every bit of sacrifice that you will make. The love between parent and child is like no other!
Back to work for the first time since June 3 as I've been on medical leave all summer. Sigh. Love my job but it's definitely a switch in routine for all of us as school is starting too.
Lovely pics lately! My daughter made me an eddie collage but I haven't figured out how to post it. She also made a mini slide show of eddie pics and set it to a clip of her favorite pj song (the fixer ). Good thing she's going back to school. She clearly had too much time on her hands. :roll:

And Elmo, I was the exact same age you are when I had my son! I had some of the same worries, especially since hubby and I had been married a while before my son was born. However, once I saw his little face, all that disappeared, and I knew I was in for the time of my life! My son is all grown now, and I still have such a close bond with him. You will find that your life will change, but definitely for the better!! :thumbup:
Oh and Emma I turned 30 last year and I think you can say that I did NOT handle it well. Had a bit of a "mid-life" crisis approaching the big day!! Hubby and I almost sold the house, quit our jobs and moved across the country...just for fun! We actually sold a lot of our stuff in preparation, some of which we still have not replaced!! Oh well, luckily I snapped out if it and all is good now!!
Remember it's just a number and it doesn't change anything! We're still young!

On the subject of big birthdays... I'm turning 40 :shock: :shock: in November. I'm definitely struggling a bit with it and I think hubby is convinced that my little pj concert mania this fall is just a passing phase that is the direct result of my own little struggle to resist the end of the thirties! He's got more surprises in store for him. :twisted:
