This Friday, I managed to get a ticket to Edddie´s solo concert in London 31st of July!! If photos are allowed, I will definitely take some pics for you girls hehe, cause I´ll be rather close to the man (ok, not super close, but close).

    You won't find a video of this because there was a no camera policy, but I found a bootleg online a while ago, so I just had a listen and typed this up verbatim for you. It was a funny moment .

    After Eddie played a beautiful acoustic version of Better Man
    Male audience member: "F**k me, Eddie I love you"
    [laughter from audience]
    Eddie: "For the benefit of the people in the back, did you hear what that exact quote was? I'll repeat it, he said, mind you HE said "f**k me, I love you Eddie"...[more laughter & applause]. Maybe I can teach this gentleman a little something about romance. You're meant to reverse those two sentences [more laughter & applause]. Not that that would work with me...Ahhh but there's nothing, absolutely nothing wrong between...with a love shared between two men. Actually...this song, actually I was going to play for a man that I love...and we never f**ked, just so we're clear". (The we're clear part was mumbled, but i'm fairly sure that is what Eddie said).

    Eddie went onto telling the audience about how he was staying in an apartment in Bondi in 2001 when he heard that Joey Ramone had passed away. Eddie went onto singing "I Believe in Miracles".

    Ahhh this thread is just what I needed! A shithead drove into the back of my parked car today (when I wasn't there) and they left a dodgy phone number :cry: . A person who witnessed it didn't take down this lady's details down because she was older, and he thought she would have been honest.
