This will be unpopular, but I don't like him. I don't like McCain at all, either. Either of them will be nothing more than corporate bitch-tools. We already know about McCain, and even though he's Republican he does have an historically illustrated anti-establishment streak. I like that much about him. The problem is, he's just dumb. I don't think McCain equates to another Bush term, but he'll support some stupid initiatives and screw the economy even worse than it is. Obama seems pretty sharp, but he already "kissed the ring" at Bilderberger in D.C. this year, and all the "money people", especially the mass media execs are behind him for a reason. He is the "elite" candidate. He will be a tool. He's a three-year senator, that's it. And while it can be argued that maybe the lack of Washington experience means he's less corrupt, that's simply naive. Neither of them offer much promise.

I wish there was a candidate I could get excited about.

    I'm suffering from "ED" too.

Electile Disfunction...........I can't get excited about either of these candidates.

Nah he was full of shit. He predicted a spectrum show as well. It's funny when people come on here and are deliberately vague about rumors and stuff they think to be confirmed. I don't know if they think it makes them cool?? but it's sure is funny when they are proven to be full of it or misinformed.

I read in an article that they would play for a month straight in Ohio and Florida....

    2nd page, last question

nevermind you that the article is from September, 2007.

yeah, I remember that article- it gave me hope then, even though I knew that Ed was being sarcastic.

Well, you still never know. The 2004 VFC tour was announced on August 4 of that year. Only two months before the tour and three months before the election. So I guess a tour is still possible...

That's true! My original prediction was for a tour announcement for tomorrow- July 30th

but then again, I don't see any sort of announcement until mid to late August- when the Ed Solo tour is almost or is over

instead of a whole band tour each member is going to pick a state and do one solo show the day before the election.

I didn't read this whole thread so maybe some else already pointed out that Ed's going to be a dad again soon, I would be surprised if he was on the road much after 8/22.
