And we have our own issues as a result

For the lake of tears we shed

For the lives (lies) that we lived

But I suppose we were rewarded some good
We found sisterly love in one another

My dad got me a card.

In it he said he'd love me forever.

I believe he believes this although he does not show it and I only make that I believe it because it helps him get through his day.

My dad owns nothing but his name.

I am glad that I came from nothing, I don't have to live up to any expectations.
