-- been 2 more long lonely days and nights since posting ...just me and a brand new fresh $5 bargain-bin CD of Yield driving around with no one to sing along to the end of " all those yesterdays" ..sigh... alas maybe this PJ dating service is not at all calibrated for the lowly southern states (maybe I'll take my sexy-low 10C number over to the REM site and start this thread, ... EV/PJ is admired there right?).

Nothing wrong with the Greek. They make great Ouzo and moussaka, and Dimi seems to be a great guy. Sure, I'll take a Greek any day.
why now we dont dating?? ;)

You certainly have not been driving around Huntington, WV with Yield playing.

These mountains are more like cages...keeping all the other PJ fans out and me trapped inside. For shame.

Silent observing is overrated! Why don't you explain why you chose to observe silently?

    Some Great points here!
I don't even know or ever met any girls that even like Pearl Jam casually, nevermind love them as much as I do. At this point, Id almost be happy meeting a girl that at least likes rock n' roll. Most girls that i have dated had terrible taste in music. I've giving up hope of even meeting a great chick in my area. They dont exist.

dude you are looking in the wrong spot. Give us some credit, there's lots of ladies with great taste in music, just look at these boards!

Of course the ladies here have great taste in music...unfortunately, in the big picture, you are a total minority...
If you make compatible taste in music a deal-breaking relationship requirement, it's pretty slim pickins. At least in my demographic, with my musical tastes...
I keep wanting to downplay the significance of similar tastes...it's not a deal-breaker for me...but then I imagine those hours-long road trips with my ex - a part time country music fan. They were hell.

    And.....
i hate girls that like "a lil bit of everything" which basically translates to "i dont like to make decisions and I really don't care"

or girls that listen to country music....never dating that kinda girl AGAIN (unless she has beer-flavored nipples then im going to keith urban every summer)

I actually have been putting my musical tastes in my dating website profiles. As it's been said here it really IS hard to find a woman with compatible musical tastes. I honestly weight it in somewhere behind Politics and Religious background in level of importance to me! Mainly because I don't want to be trapped in a car for HOURS AND HOURS listening to TERRIBLE music on a road trip and have to fight back the urge to jump out of a moving vehicle because what's been playing on the radio has been driving me INSANE! I also don't want to be the guy dragging the "disinterested girlfriend" to a concert so she can stair at the floor and sulk or text message the entire concert while I'm rocking the fuck out and having the time of my life! I'll never forget this couple next to me at a Tool concert where the guy was having a blast, and his bitchy looking preppy girlfriend was crossing her arms the whole time and looking PISSED the entire show!

Like Yellow Bedwetter said, "a little bit of everything" means they have no strong musical opinion and are likely to be happy listening to whatever bubblegum flavor of the moment pop music is on the radio, and they LOVE watching American Idol! Not to mention I'm sure I'd hear "turn this crap off! It's depressing me!" about the majority of my music! :?

For as much as I LOVE music, I can't imagine dating someone who's taste in music drives me crazy, and would have absolutely no interest in going to concerts with me.
    I won't change direction, and I won't change my mind - E.V.

ok, i'm late to the party, how does this work exactly?

Just say something nice about single mothers, and one will be knocking on your door tonight. Apparently they're very pleasing and good in bed. At least that's what Metsfan says.

I tried dating a single Mom once...then she pulled out her music collection of Kid Rock, Papa Roach, and Hinder. Needless to say, it ended almost immediately thereafter. How can a parent subject their innocent child to such awfulness. Irresponsible if you ask me.
