Thanks Savman :) unfortunately gigs aren't really the best cos generally people like a good chat... so while it's good to have music and stuff, you can't really chat at a gig. Are you planning on coming along? :)
    The Astoria??? Orgazmic!
    Verona??? it's all surmountable
Dublin 23.08.06 "The beauty of Ireland, right there!"
    Wembley? We all believe!
Copenhagen?? your light made us stars
    Chicago 07? And love
    What a different life
Had I not found this love with you

that was the plan :o but I don't have the time or energy to organise it over the next week :( but if anybody else wants to, they're more than welcome.

But yeh, there'll be established friends and there'll be new people... but most of us don't like eachother anyway so we talk more to the newbies than eachother :D

Of course : ) would be great to meet ya and have a beer or 5

I dunno where or when to meet : o I also don't know the sleeping arrangements : ( . I'm afraid I'm not gonna be able to organise the fundraiser thing either... I know I know : ( I've been sick recently and am pretty strong painkillers so can't even string a sentence together and am going away tomorrow til Monday! So I'm sorry, I'm usually pretty good at organising stuff but this time I'm gonna have to leave it to somebody else : o

5 beers eh? i don't think i'll be making much sense after those :D I also wish for you to get well :) ............and to organise something cause without you we are fucked hehe, nah just kidding you came up with some pretty good suggestions already, i think what you need to do now is kick back and relax and let someone else get stressed :)

or here's an answer on yahoo questions

Hope and Anchor pub, Upper Street, Islington, London
    Crobar, 17 Manette Street, Soho
Garlic and Shots, 14 Frith Street, Soho
Devonshire Arms, 33 Kentish Town Road, Camden
The Intrepid Fox, 15 St. Giles High Street, Bloomsbury
The Old Kings Head, 382 Holloway Road
Ruskin Arms, 386 High Street North, Manor Park

dunno anything about any of them though.

    or Big Red

    http://trustedplaces.com/review/uk/london/bar-pub/132237j/big-red/158al8

    crobar in Soho

    http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/58/5857/Crobar/Soho

Hope and Anchor - been there once, my friend was dj-ing in there, weren't many people though because goths/metalheads didn't bother to turn up there. so when i was there it was empty, with the exception of some big muscly french guy with whom i talked to but didn't bother hitting on him because i was an idiot.oh if i see him again........... ;)

Crobar - sorry but i really don't like that place and the toilets are disgusting. there is also 2 pounds charge to get in :D someone better pay me to go there, so yeah i'm dead against that place

Garlic and Shots - brilliant! freaking love the place and can't get enough of i really love the whole mexican/american theme

Devonshire Arms is now called Hob Goblin - everytime i'm there it makes me depressed don't know why...... now that there is a new management the place gets more 'crowded'

The Intrepid Fox - :D:D what can i say nearly all of my friends go there. i think the place is pretty cool, but music is too loud to have a conversation

The Old Kings Head, Ruskin Arms - never been in those places.

Big Red - once again really love the theme, quite a nice place. it also means that my journey back home will be easier than with any others ;)

i can only suggest other places like Worlds End in Camden.

and also The Unicorn near Camden, which is trying to be metal/rock place. They have free live gigs, and so far they're not doing too badly.... but it's a bit dead when the bands are not playing and sometimes when they are..... :o oh, who gives a shit i still have a soft spot for that pub

...or we're too old to know (or want to know :o ) any of the trendy places that the young folk might like to go - you know, they're all too noisy or cost money to get into... ;)

(thought you'd appreciate that last bit, Dunk) :D
Oh yeah? Well, I've had about enough of morons and halfwits, dolts, dunces, dullards and dumbbells - and you chowderhead yokel, you blithering hayseed, you - you've had enough of me?

I hope so, cause i'm not much of a leader i get too stressed worrying if people are happy or not when i organise/manage something, so i'll wait till everyone else comes to unanimous decision.
