    Hitchness? Edinburgh 09 baby?
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

so you gonna get to London all the way from Dublin? how long are you going to stay for, i can try and show you around town :)
Yup, I'm arrivin early afternoon on the 29th. Goin back on Monday. I presume drinks will happen the saturday night, but I'll still have all sunday to wander. Last time all I saw was the pub and Wembley arena :p So it'd be great to see more.

well as soon as you come down here, give me a text or something. shall i leave you my phone number via pm? i'm quite prominent in the metal scene, so i could show you around pubs where metalheads hang around but if you're not into that then together we can go to some unfamiliar club? cause frankly i want some adventure and discover places in London i haven't been to before....

  • I'd say the 12 Bar is a dead no... even though I know one of the guys who used to run it... it's absolutely TINY - I played a gig there once when the band was still going and the guitarists had to share one cab, and the drummer had to make do with a two piece and one cymbal... couldn't swing a cat in that place!
...London Doesn't Call Anymore... (rip joe)

Yes, I have been to some Pearl Jam concerts. Several of them.

I think that looks a good choice too. I'll investigate where it is. But then, it all depends on what everyone else wants to do and where everyone is staying...

Thanks :) a pub crawl sounds like a brilliant idea... but it's a problem when there's a group of people cos bouncers can be fussy  best to find some place in advance that will do for the night.
